I am offering my one bedroom apartment located in a newly-renovated Victorian Townhome from the 1900 in a great neighborhood, with easy access to downtown and to a small park just two blocks away. It is located at 4th Street N.W., one block from the bus station for the G2 bus (for going to Georgetown), the G8 bus (for going downtown), and the 96 (for going to Capitol Hill and Union Station), and a 5 min walk to the Shaw/Howard University metro station, with the Yellow and Green metro line. I love my place because it is close to everything, but quiet enough for a nice stroll in the LeDroit Park historic neighborhood.
It is a very short walking distance to the U-Street corridor and Bloomingdale neighborhood and there is much at hand. It goes from Ethiopian food to Capoeira, yoga and western cuisine. You name it! Post Office, restaurants, bars, etc. Within two blocks, there is the Shaw's Tavern, Flash (American), Bistro Bohem (eastern European), Beau Thai, Thai X-ing, Boundary Stone (American), Rustik Tavern (Italian). It is also two metro stops away from the Columbia Heights area having a larger mall with Target, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. Closest grocery store is the O Street Market, about 6 blocks away
Best of all you can walk to downtown in 25 minutes, or take the G8 bus or the yellow line metro that would take about the same amount of time to get there, and it is one block from the Howard Theater and 4 blocks from 9:30 Club, where there are fantastic concerts and shows.
The apartment is very well distributed and super comfortable. It has a nice entrance, 2 very spacious closets, a fully equipped kitchen, a very big living room and a nice large and calm bedroom. The bathroom is quite comfortable with glass doors. There is a washer/dryer machine available inside the apartment, and it is equipped with central AC, central heating, and HDTV Flat Screen TV 46".
The apartment is at the first floor and has access to the backyard , where you can leave your bicycle if you prefer. For the coffee cravers there is a Dunkin' Donuts that serves coffee at hand one the other side of the road.
The apartment has many windows and good light. The front is at the street level, and therefore the living room area gets most light and feels great, and the bedroom is at a basement level with large window that does get a little less light, but at least the sunlight to bother you early in the morning and is very calm.
The place has been just renovated and everything is new.
With the metros it takes 25 minutes to arrive to the National Reagan Airport. Also there is a capital bike share close by and a Hertz-on-demand car rental station 100 yards away.
Many thanks, and I am open to any questions you might have.

This was the second time I stayed at Nik's apartment. Nik was a great host. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. I would without hesitation stay there again.
This is a very comfy apartment in a very nice location. Nik is a great host. He was very responsive and dealt immediatedly with the few requests that we had. Best choice for the Bloomingdale/Logan Circle area. Good bus connections to almost everywhere, metro also nearby. Thanks again, Nik!
Nik was a great host. He was attentive, cordial and flexible throughout. The apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. I would without hesitation stay there again.
Nik was a great host during my husband's 6 week stay in DC. He was attentive, cordial and flexible throughout. The apartment was spacious, clean, and exactly as advertised. I would without hesitation stay there again if ever back in the district.
As an aside - the location of the apartment is on the corner of two very busy streets, so it can be quite noisy at times.
The reservation was canceled 22 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
