Cozy private room in 100+ yr. old house. Stream, garden and greenhouse in the back yard, a stone's throw from Amherst town center, and to the University of MA. (Within walking distance from Amtrack and Peter Pan Busline.) Beautiful guest bathroom, cable, internet, kitchen privileges, and solar hot water which is always hot!
Expect friendliness, and privacy, long walks through woods, town, or campuses.
Beautiful neighborhood, any season of the year. Plenty of interesting restaurants including Japanese, Vietnamese, East African, Indian, American, high and low end. Plenty of culture in this 5 College area. Excellent transportation during the academic seasons.
Other Things to Note
I enjoy meeting my guests and spending a little time talking with them. You are welcome in my home. Plan to enjoy the sites! There's so much culture and fun in this town, and in this area! It is a beautiful place to enjoy nature - worth staying a few extra days if you're here on business.
I teach music in the afternoons, so guests are expected to be quiet during that time of day.
Our stay at Heaven on Earth B & B was lovely indeed. My daughter and I, who were in Amherst for a college visit, felt welcome and treated like Debbi's best friends with the freedom to move about and guidance when needed. Our room and bathroom were immaculate. We'd go back in a heartbeat and I look forward to staying there often to visit my daughter, who will in fact go to college in Amherst.
Thank you Debbi!

This is my second time staying with Debbi and just like before it was a splendid time. Debbi was very attentive to making my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Debbi's if passing through Amherst.
My stay with Debbi was exactly the homey, comfy spot that I was looking for. I was in town for a conference and she was so generous in offering me a ride, connecting me with local businesses and sharing food and toiletries. The location is perfect: 15 walk to UMass, 5 minute walk to Amherst Center.
The room was perfect, the bed divine. Seriously, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Did not want to leave it!
I wish I could have stayed longer and spent more time with Debbi at her forest oasis. She is a very sweet, warm and welcoming soul and I hope to be back for a longer stay soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Debbi's. She lives in a quiet little neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. My room was clean and comfortable, and Debbi was very welcoming. I'd definitely stay with her again!
My first experience with airbnb could not have been better, and I credit Debbi with making me feel so at home in a place I'd never been before. She had lots of advice about what to do in Amherst, and she even took me maple sugaring, where I met some amazing people. Meeting her granddaughter and having beautiful quilts on the bad made me feel like part of her family. I felt safe, secure, and cared for. I would highly recommend staying with Debbi!
Ms. Debbi is so hospitable. She loves to solve every question you have. I feel so great with Ms. Debbi and her grandchildren. The room is clean and tidy. It's convenient to go to either UMASS or Amherst Town. It's an unforgettable memory for me. If I have chance to stay here again, I'll definitely choose Ms. Debbi again.
The hostess with the mostess! We had a wonderful time staying with Debbi. She is friendly and very easy-going. Her grandchildren are adorable. The tempurpedic bed was very comfy and the house is gorgeous (especially the kitchen where she cooked us a wholesome breakfast!) Thanks Debbi, it was a pleasure staying with you!

I am an outgoing, active, teacher and musician. I feel very lucky to live in a neighborhood where I am able to garden and enjoy the outdoors in the middle of town, close to a University. Meeting people, and sharing the bounty of life, is what I thrive on. I've been hosting for two years and have enjoyed having guests from all over the world! I would love to learn about you, and about what brings you to Amherst.
