Other Things to Note
I enjoy meeting my guests and spending a little time talking with them. You are welcome in my home. Plan to enjoy the sites! There's so much culture and fun in this town, and in this area! It is a beautiful place to enjoy nature - worth staying a few extra days if you're here on business.
I teach music in the afternoons, so guests are expected to be quiet during that time of day.
The best airbnb experience is when you start feeling that your host is like an old friend and when you feel their house is truly meant for you to share. This happened with our wonderful host Debbi and her lovely house among the trees.
Even though it really lies in the center of Amherst and only minutes away on foot from all the shops and restaurants, it has a rustic feel and you are surrounded by an explosion of animal and plant life.
The central kitchen area is very functional and the guest bathroom excellent (with one of the best shower areas I have seen.)
Despite our unexpectedly busy schedule, Debbi was always helpful and facilitating. We thank her and look forward to visiting her again.
In a word, my experience at Heaven on Earth was heavenly. Debbi is an excellent host, the house is a warm and inviting farmhouse (I think), the property is beautiful, and the neighborhood has that certain je ne sais pas. You'll know what I mean when you walk down the street.
This home is truly next to the middle of downtown Amherst and within a stone's throw of the UMass campus, yet it feels like far from everything. It's surrounded by woods on two sides, and gardens and bamboo on the other two sides. I was fortunate enough to have breakfast under a blossoming cherry tree.
The bed is completely comfortable. The neighborhood is probably totally serene under normal circumstances but I was there during UMass graduation weekend so there was a lot of party noise from other streets. I gave them a pass.
And Debbi is a fantastic host. Her house is your house. She's warm and cheerful, wants you to be comfortable, and not in your face at all. She's my new friend. I hope I have another opportunity to come to Amherst so I can stay at Heaven on Earth again.
Loved the place. Pretty room with windows on three sides. Rustic feel steps from UMass and Amherst. Debbi was very friendly and accommodating.
Our stay at Heaven on Earth B & B was lovely indeed. My daughter and I, who were in Amherst for a college visit, felt welcome and treated like Debbi's best friends with the freedom to move about and guidance when needed. Our room and bathroom were immaculate. We'd go back in a heartbeat and I look forward to staying there often to visit my daughter, who will in fact go to college in Amherst.
Thank you Debbi!

This is my second time staying with Debbi and just like before it was a splendid time. Debbi was very attentive to making my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Debbi's if passing through Amherst.
My stay with Debbi was exactly the homey, comfy spot that I was looking for. I was in town for a conference and she was so generous in offering me a ride, connecting me with local businesses and sharing food and toiletries. The location is perfect: 15 walk to UMass, 5 minute walk to Amherst Center.
The room was perfect, the bed divine. Seriously, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Did not want to leave it!
I wish I could have stayed longer and spent more time with Debbi at her forest oasis. She is a very sweet, warm and welcoming soul and I hope to be back for a longer stay soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Debbi's. She lives in a quiet little neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. My room was clean and comfortable, and Debbi was very welcoming. I'd definitely stay with her again!

About the Host, Debbi
I am an outgoing, active, teacher and musician. I feel very lucky to live in a neighborhood where I am able to garden and enjoy the outdoors in the middle of town, close to a University. Meeting people, and sharing the bounty of life, is what I thrive on. I've been hosting for two years and have enjoyed having guests from all over the world! I would love to learn about you, and about what brings you to Amherst.
