One really doesn't know till that morning how the weather will truly be.

Would recommend to my friends...
We had a great week at Paul's flat. The location is superb and we found Paul and his assistant Stephanie very prompt with their replies to our queries. The flat is very spacious and quiet, we had ample room (2 adults and 2 kids) and it was great to walk 50 yards to the Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field and great views of The Golden Gate Bridge. Would highly recommend it
This property is great. The host is responsive (sometimes via a very friendly assistant.) This property is located only a block from the Palace of Fine Arts and the Presidio, and a block from Marina Boulevard where there's access to the bay, bike paths, parks, and more. There's also very easy access to one of the main Muni bus routes (30) that can take you all the way downtown, via the fun, Cow-Hollow section of Chestnut St. , past Fisherman's Wharf, etc., and up through North Beach. Biking is another great way to get around from here, but you'll need a Muni pass to get up into town and up all the hills. (!)
The property itself would be good for two couples traveling together, and/or a family with older children (8 and above, perhaps).
(Little kids might make to much noise for the neighbors above and below. There's no carpeting to dampen noise. Also, older or disabled folks, esp. without a car, might want to choose somewhere else because walking or biking are the best way to get around from here.)
While you're inside:
Access to master bedroom is through the secondary bedroom. Beds, linens, bathrooms, etc. were nice, clean, and high quality. Other furnishings are also nice and comfortable, including the large dining room table. The neighborhood is very quiet; buses do not come down the street or any adjacent streets. You will hear the foghorn from the Golden Gate Bridge, but that's part of the charm. There are not any views of anything from the property. The kitchen is clean and adequately equipped for simple cooking. Lots of restaurants and a good grocery store are about six blocks away. Bathrooms are nice and clean.
If and when we return to San Francisco, we'd definitely stay here again.
The flat was ideally located in a safe and beautiful part of the city. We found the location to be very walkable to both Fisherman's Warf and the Presidio (including the Golden Gate Bridge). There was also a grocery store and many nice restaurants within walking distance. The flat was very clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and a short note from Paul. Paul was very attentive to any question and responded quickly.
Apartment was meticulously clean and roomy. It is is on a quiet street just one block from the Marina and views of Golden Gate bridge - wonderful location. Beautiful Kitchen, separate dining room - you could do formal entertaining here! One concern - parking on the street is seriously difficult and the one parking space that comes with the rental will only fit a compact car. Instructions in the apartment specifically said not to try parking an SUV there - you could break the paving stones! That left me a little nervous as I read the note on parking AFTER pulling in in my great big SUV!
This was our first time using airbnb and found it a pleasant experience. The apartment is very spacious. We enjoyed having a parking space and did use the washer and dryer. Instructions were very easy to follow. This location is in walking distance of the marina, Chestnut street, and the Palace. We had a fantastic time.
Our host was out of town when we arrived, but as soon as he returned ( the following day) he visited with us and answered all our questions. When we first arrived all was according to his detailed instructions and entry was easy & his home was clean as well.
