This charming apartment is located in a quaint corner of
Berlin's Neukoelln district, a multicultural area of Berlin with numerous beautiful period buildings and long, tree lined, cobblestone streets. It also boasts several beautiful parks, such as the Koernerpark, Hasenheide or the former Tempelhof airport, now transformed into a large green space. In addition, you will find plenty of restaurants, eateries, kebab shops, cafes and bars in that area that keeps changing and has, in the recent past, attracted many artists and students for whom other Berlin areas were becoming too "established". Many now see Neukoelln as the new Kreuzberg, the funky and muticultural neighbouring district.
The apartment is easy to reach - just a 30 minute train ride from Schoenefeld aiport to Hermannstrasse and a few minutes walk from there, or a bus and train ride (c. 45 minutes in total) from Tegel airport. The circle line is 5 minutes walk away, and there is also a direct subway link (c. 15 minutes) to Alexanderplatz and the main rail station (Hauptbahnof) can also be reached within 30 minutes.
The apartment was fully renovated in 2010 and is located in a quiet street in a period building, which was renovated from the outside in 2012. It is on the 1st floor (the building has no elevator) and has high ceilings, elegant wooden flooring and a small balcony. The two large bedrooms have a queen size bed (160 x 200cm) each with a comfortable mattress. There is also an additional single mattress for an extra person. The kitchen has a dining area as well as state-of-the art appliances. The bathroom has both a shower cabinet and a separate bathroom as well as a washer dryer. Wi-fi is available and included in the price.
Finally, we will also welcome our guests with a small something - a bottle of wine or prosecco or a box of chocolate. We will also be happy to answer all your questions on the city, and look forward to being your hosts in Berlin!
-Do not use the internet provided at the apartment for illegal downloads, filesharing or distribution of movies, songs, videos, etc. This is an infringement of copyrights, which can get the owner of the internet connection (i.e. the apartment owner or manager) sued by the owner of the files' distribution rights. Any such action by guests will therefore, unfortunately, lead to us taking legal action against them and to seek compensation. Unfortunately, we have learnt from our past experience where guests have engaged in such filesharing. DO NOT DO IT PLEASE(URL HIDDEN)Do not smoke inside the apartment or inside the building. Smoking on the balcony is allowed.
-No excessive noise between 11pm and 7am
-Do not leave windows wide open (so that birds could enter), and close all windows when leaving the apartment.
-Make sure the building's main door is properly shut when leaving the building.
-Make sure the apartment's door is locked when leaving the apartment.
-Preferably take off your shoes when inside the apartment.
-Do not overload the washing machine - half to two thirds full should be the maximum.
-If you want to get rid of garbage, please leave it in one of the garbage trunks in the backyard.
-Please throw away major cardboard/paper items or bottles separately in the dedicated trunks.

I love travelling and therefore want to make sure my guests have a fantastic experience too.
I split time between London and Berlin but also enjoy travelling to other major cities or some remote destinations.... this could be in the mountains or somewhere on a beach.
I also like reading, writing, music, going out, working out and eating well!
