Krystyna and Ed are doing their very best to make you feel like living in a family. They are so helpful.
The rooms may not be the cheapest on the island but they are very clean, with lovely details, big enough and with a quiet location, close to the beach it is realy reasonable. They also have good ideas for any trips and activities and can help you booking it much cheaper!
So we can truly recomend this lovely place!
We had a great time at the Blue Wave Villa. Krystyna and Ed were extremely helpful. Krystyna took care of many different arrangements for us: booked a snorkelling trip, confirm our transportation to and from the island, etc.
Our room was very clean, nice and bright. Krystyna and Ed opened their main leaving areas to us and made us feel at home. We loved Ambergris Caye and we loved staying at the Blue Waves Villa
The house was in a great location. Krystyna and Ed were very friendly. We are seasoned travelers and very independent and private. If you are interested in a more social experience with your hosts, you will like Blue Wave Villa. Our room (#1) was lovely but we did not have as much privacy as we expected. The open invitation to the kitchen and living space was generous but it is the host's living space. You will enjoy this if you are interested in regular interaction with your hosts. The rooftop deck is lovely - particularly at night when all the stars are out! - but there is no shaded/protected roof (as shown in the photo).
This was our first Airbnb experience and it couldn't have gone any better!
Nothing we can add to the reviews already here. Krystyna and Ed welcomed us into their home and we felt very well looked after! Staying at this place means staying at home with a family. We couldn't have asked for a more gracious host.
The house was very well maintained, the beds were comfortable and the rooms had more than enough storage. The internet worked great.
We HIGHLY recommend staying here! Thank you Krystyna and Ed!!!
Hello, Rosi and Holden!
You truly brought so much sunshine into my heart, I will forever be thankful.
Wish I could be your neighbor. Maybe in a next life?
Miss you - and love both of you, and think about you very often. You found this perfect balance, that brings peace everywhere you are - and you brought it to me.
With much love - Krystyna
Krystyna and Ed were wonderful and treated me like family. When Krystyna found out it was my birthday she spoiled me with a delicious cake that she made, decorations in my room, and even wine. She went above and beyond. The place looks exactly as it did in the pictures. Krystyna was very helpful and took care of reservations for daily trips. Ed picked me up and dropped me off from the airport and showed me where to buy food etc. The place is about two miles north of San Pedro so It is not a bad walk, that's all I did, but it might be a good idea to rent a bike and bring a flashlight. Thanks so much Krystyna and Ed for hosting me, take care!
Laila, your poise, your beauty and amazing love for everyone caught hearts of many people here (including ALL Guides at Tuff-e-Nuff! and that' not so common on the Island visited by so many, trust me!) and needless to say - especially ours. Wish you stayed longer and at least come back. You are a real Jewel in this bit messed-up world - and we really do miss you.
With sincere love - Krystyna with Ed
This is a very welcoming destination. It was great to have Ed take us to/from from the airport. It was great that he allowed us to ride along into San Pedro several times and showed us the best places to eat and pick up fresh fruit. We had many great conversations with Ed. Krystyna was a great host too and took good care of us. Krystyna was a HUGE help in arranging trips and suggesting places to eat and go. Krystyna even made a special birthday meal for us! Ed and Krystyna really open up their home and make you feel comfortable staying there. The hammocks are wonderful on the patio to just relax and read a book with the cool ocean breeze! We also loved to visit with all the other great couples that we met there.
We do miss you from the moment you left - and before. You are an exceptional couple and listing to your ideas with expanding and improving Ruth's store was a real awakening. Thank you for being our Guests - memories of having you over will never fade. Please, PLEASE stay in touch and come back!
Thank you for all your advice. We'll try to be less "invasive" in the future ..... - Krystyna with Ed
Very clean room and place! It was home away from home. Both hosts were great at making sure we got to and from places on time. This would be a great place to stay if you are going to San Pedro.

About the Host, Krystyna
I am originally from Poland, where I was born and educated for 18 years in Classical Music at Academy of Music in Warsaw. I came to US in mid 70's, raised 3 children while building my first house, opened 2 eclectic cafés located in Chicago's Downtown, as Sound Engineering could not support my kids nor me, then moved to Michigan by the Michigan Lake with my youngest son, Ryan - and after another 6 years of cruel winters in MidWest - we moved to Belize to help manage a new house on the beach. I came back to US for Ryan's HS education and his career in swimming, but with his acceptance to College Of His Dreams I am coming back to La Isla Bonita. My passion is travel (MachuPicchu, my favorite!), Classical Music, meeting new friends, looking after my pets and the house and planting blooming wonders. I love cooking creatively (also known as "playing with food"), snuggling with a good book in the evening and reading every night until dawn. And - being happy in the place, where "No shoes, no shirt" - IS no problem. Literally.
Hope, you will love staying in a beautiful Villa Of Dreams.
