50-min drive to Grand Teton National Park

This home is near the national park.
This newer home, with oak and pine finishes, features 360 degree mountain and native sagebrush meadow views. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The main living space is an open design, perfect for cooking dinners and socializing at the large dining table.
The common space, largest bedroom, and bathroom, as well as the wrap around porch and patio, are all fully wheelchair accessible. All rugs are removed as needed for accessibility and the photos reflect various possible setups but not all.

The space
The largest bedroom in the house has two extra long twin adjustable electric beds, that can be joined together to create a king sized bed. This room is the wheelchair accessible bedroom, that features a large bathroom with a roll in shower, fold down shower seat, and grab bars in the shower and by the toilet, as well as, a roll under sink.

The middle bedroom has a king size bed, and a full bath with a shower and toilet.

The smallest bedroom has a queen sized bed against a wall, a desk for remote work, and a pass through bathroom with a bathtub and separate water closet.

The rest of the home features an open space living, dining and kitchen area, with multiple access points to the concrete patio.

The partially covered patio wraps around 3 sides of the house, providing either sun or shade, and protection from prevailing winds throughout the day. A two car garage has ample space for storing sporting goods related to a vacation in the Tetons. The yard is fenced and the groundcover is native low growing, drought tolerant grass.

The house is heated with wall mounted cove heaters and in floor electric radiant heat under all tiled spaces, which are the bathrooms and the kitchen and entryway.

Guest access
The home is only available for rent in its entirety and includes the attached garage. No one else lives on the property, excluding of course the resident, deer, coyotes, hares, skunks, and large assortment of birds.

Please note that the space above the garage is not part of the rental. It is simply a storage space.

Other things to note
Please note that while the driveway is plowed by a company, the space immediately adjacent to the garage door, the front walkway, and patios are not and renters may need to shovel snow during their stay to help maintain access to the home and garage.

Winter and even summer storms frequently wreak havoc in our region, closing roads, snowing people in and temporarily shutting off the power grid and WIFI. Please be prepared for these eventualities, which are common to mountain dwellers but can come as a surprise to guests.

The property to the west in the subdivision is currently being developed. Construction noise has not been an issue for renters working from the house during the day, but some noise can be heard if the windows are left open.

No construction has begun yet on the property to the east, but any renters of this home will be notified should it start before or during your stay.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a mixed use rural country setting. There are some ranches and homes within subdivisions along with farms all within a mile of the property. Some homes are in older local workforce trailer parks, and some are newer high end homes. Generally speaking it is a very quiet area, where mostly creeks and birds provide the backdrop. During the morning commute, vehicle noise can be heard from the highway which is approximately .75 miles away from the house.
