Fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting, you won't be disappointed!
Had a lovely weekend in Seaside Cottage. It is really cosy and beautifully decorated with Annabel's colourful art work. The kitchen is well stocked for people who like cooking and there is a wood burning stove in the sitting room, with plenty of wood to light a fire. On sunny days there is a lovely picnic table to have your breakfast with a view of the sea. It's the perfect base. The café next door has amazing food - really fresh & tasty salads - and it is a short stroll to the local pub. Sheep's Head has lots of signposted walks that you can start from Seaside Cottage. Annabel and Klaus are lovely hosts and made it a very special holiday. Oh, and the gardens are incredible. Will definitely be back.
Easily booked with good communication before our trip during may bank holiday weekend. Knew the area but the cottage is easily located. the cottage is comfortably furnished with all amenities we needed for a weekend, but there is an attached café and pub is a short walk down country roads. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens with sea views from bedrooms, while we were there Klaus and Annabel had organised a music concert in their gallery which was very enjoyable. Recommended.
Last week was my third trip to Annabel's magical cottage. I want to tell everyone about this beautiful place and yet I want to keep it all to myself too ha ha. The perfect escape. Warm and welcoming and in an absolutely idyllic setting. It has everything. I have been here on a romantic winter break, a family catch up and playing tour guide to friends. If you manage to drag yourself away from the warmth of the cottage fire a world of exploration awaits you. The perfect base to see the sights of beautiful Cork and Kerry. I can't recommend it enough. A real hidden gem that oozes charm. Thanks Annabel! Will be back again soon. Louise x
We spent a wonderful few days in Seaside Cottage during our Easter break. The cottage was really cosy and had all amenities available. The location was perfect for walking and cycling, we were very lucky with the weather and spent each day out and about.
Seaside cottage and gardens plus all the animals contributed to the perfect ambience of the location, idyllic, in a word
Airy and charming cottage. I was probably a little too tall (1.94m) for the house
Annabel was a great host and the house was perfect. Our son loved the amazing gardens, the pigs, fish and the dogs. The area was fantastic and we had a great time.
