Celine's place is unarguably the most wonderful view you'll get in Beirut at the best price. But what you get is also Celine: This wonderful, smart and amazingly helpful smiling creature! My trip wouldn't have been the same without her. The flat has all the basics you need and this area of Ashrafieh is both peaceful, lively and charming. Remember a big woolen sweater for when the sun sets, as it gets cold inside in the evening in winter. Remember to go on the roof top sometime too. Wouldn't trade this place for the world.
Very good experience! The situation is very good for go everywhere easy, and Celine is so nice!
We had a very pleasant stay in beirut, one of the reasons for that was celine's cosy and comfortable house. The roommates were all friendly and interesting people, and celine is a caring host that answers to messages immediately, shows up from time to time to see if there are needs in house. Also she organizes a taxi driver to pick you up from the airport and brings you home safely.
The neighborhood of achrafieh is a safe and friendly place, beirut art center (you should check it out!) is a walking distance of 10 minutes. Rue monot is quite close. To hamra and gemmayzeh, the most lively neighborhoods, you better take a taxi.
The only disadvantages, if to same some: the apartment is quite noisy at night and the internet is a bit slow.
But for the price that celine makes, you cannot really complain about that.
All in all, we were happy to stay there and will book the room again when we come back to beautiful beirut.
We had a great time staying six nights in this homey apartment with two other flatmates. Celynn was super helpful with directions and information before our arrival and was very alert as to any enquiries we had while staying there. Thumbs up!
Everything was great!
The location is amazing, Celynn is really cool, the apartment has a great balcony where you can have a coffee, and everything was very clean.
:) :) :)
Very nice place, well located with nice bedroom and all facilities!
The view from the balcony is really beautiful as well!!
Celynn is a very nice and helpful person!!
Very recommended place!!!
The Location is fantastic, you have everything you need in Ashrafieh. I really like the neighborhood. Beirut is not a very large city so you can get around pretty quick. The apartment is great and has everything you need. Celynn is nice and helpful.
The apartment is located very well. The neighborhood is vivid and has maintained it's grown social structure. Authentic falafel meets Starbucks mini markets meet supermarkets younger generation meets older generation. The beautiful walk to Gemmayze, the major bar and club scene takes about 20 min. Any taxi or service will take you there for between 1.50 and 2.50 $.
The apartment has great views overlooking the neighborhood and parts of the city you could not get a better Lebanon feeling. It is spacious clean and functional. We had the apartment to ourselves but there can be up to 3 parties. Wifi can be slow sometimes but works.
Céline, the lovely and very committed host, is a designer which means that you can find some of her great design work there. To start the day on the east facing balcony with a Lebanese coffee and the sun in your face feels amazing. In the winter be prepared for rain, too. And bring some warm clothes.
Celynn was warm and hospitable. Made kind arrangements to work with my odd hour arrival time. Location is central and makes all of Beirut easily accessible. The apartment was very clean and cozy.
