The space
You rise early to enjoy sipping coffee on the front porch of your luxuriously equipped glamping tent as you take in the beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains. After a spell, you gather up the family and walk up to the Heavenly Roast coffee house and put your 10% café discount toward a freshly prepared gourmet coffee and homemade pastry. After breakfast, you head out to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park ... you marvel at how convenient it is to get there ... in just 5 minutes you are at the entrance! In the afternoon, you return to your tent and prepare a hearty dinner on the deluxe camp grill. You wind down the evening building precious memories with your family as you enjoy s'mores by the campfire.

YALA luxurious lodges are designed to offer a unique experience, creating lasting memories for all who visit. Each lodge features a thoughtfully designed European-style bathroom and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with an open bar area, making it the perfect spot for gathering and socializing. To ensure comfort throughout your stay, the entire grounds are treated with an environmentally safe, pet-friendly insect repellent, keeping red ants, mosquitoes, termites, and bees at bay. The product used is safe for the environment, and a full MSDS is available on our website. Tennessee summers can be quite hot, but we've installed mini-split HVAC units in each lodge to provide a temperature-controlled environment for ultimate comfort. Additionally, each lodge comes with robes and baskets for added convenience and relaxation.
- Another thing to note: Our first tent, Copernicus, is a pet-friendly unit, so it’s possible that you might see pets on the property. That said, pets are not allowed in any of the other accommodations.

Greetings! Thank-you for taking a moment to find more out about us! We are the proud owners and operators of Star Gazer Stays. We have luxuriously appointed properties scattered along the Gulf Coast, in Gatlinburg, TN, and Vermont. My husband Scott and I are life-long Vermont residents. I am a veteran of the US Army (HOOAH) and work in business development for a Fortune 500 defense contractor and Scott owns and operates a boutique home building company. He and his partner are true craftsmans in an era of track homes and shoddy construction. Our favorite thing to do is ride our Harley’s. For you gear heads, I own a 2016 Road Glide Special and Scott rides a highly customized 2012 Street Glide. Let us know if you want a peek…we would be glad to show them to you. My other two passions are working out (weight lifting and spinning are my goto’s) and stained glass. I have a full stained glass studio in my basement. You will see several examples of my work if we are lucky enough to host you at our home in Arlington, VT. We have five children. Three of them have chosen to remain in the local area; one of them went to college in FL and never came back! Our youngest daughter is proudly serving our Great Country in the United States Army (GO ARMY!!). We would be honored to treat you like family in our home in Arlington, or host you in one of our other locations. We just love the beauty, majesty and magic of the Green Mountains.
