Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Characterful en-suite bedroom adjacent to sitting room within an artist's painting studio.
18th century coach-house in peaceful and pretty Cotswold village.
It's a quiet and private place to get away from it all for a few days, with fresh air, beautiful views and country walks from the doorstep.

The space
Welcome to your own bolt-hole in the Cotswolds. Picturesque, detached coach-house with en-suite bedroom in peaceful, rural village location. The bedroom is characterful with sloping ceilings (and floors!) and ancient timbers, but light and airy. The bedroom and ensuite are located two steps up from my painting studio where your breakfast table, kitchen & sitting area are within this lovely airy space with my paintings and collection of art books. This is your own space while you’re here, with your own front door and your own key - we'll leave you in peace to come and go as you wish.

Within 3 miles of Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Daylesford with so many independent pubs, restaurants and cafés and diverse & interesting places explore throughout the year.

Access is up exterior stone steps (regrettably not at all suitable for children or those unsteady on their feet). Simple kitchen facilities are available in the studio - fridge, microwave oven, kettle, sink, table and chairs. Your own private bedroom and en-suite bathroom (shower, loo, basin) are adjacent.

We want you to feel at home, and will do all we can to help before and during your stay. Please just ask and we will try to help!

Evenlode is a pretty and friendly village in beautiful Cotswold countryside. Many of the stone buildings are several hundred years old. We have a very special & ancient church, St Edwards, dating back to Norman times, which you are welcome to visit. There are footpaths for walking, and many interesting historical and cultural destinations nearby.

Parking is available for one car.

The studio is accessed up external steps at your own risk.

Other things to note
We offer something individual and interesting and hope that guests who choose to stay here appreciate the peaceful location and sense of history, along with the experience of staying in an artistic environment. Many guests come for a detox from their fast-paced digital lives and comment that they leave feeling relaxed and inspired. We hope you will too!

My work: I’m an artist
I just asked my young adult children to describe me… "Welcoming, friendly, family-oriented artist" is what they said! I love sharing my painting studio and hosting guests from UK & beyond. As a family, we love travel and adventures, especially the seaside and small islands. We have lived in our old farm-house for 30 years and would be delighted to welcome you to our part of the picturesque Cotswolds.
