  • This is a great location for a solo traveler and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to stay here again. The room has everything needed and I especially appreciated a strong wireless wi-fi signal as it's a requirement for my self-employment. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood, enough so that I slept with the window open both nights and enjoyed the breeze. Bed was comfortable and plenty of space to unpack and hang up clothing, etc. Eugenia is a delightful lady and brought a very much appreciated cup of black coffee to me each morning, and it was a very good cup! Of course if you've read the reviews you know it's really easy to get here from La Guardia and the #7 subway is two long blocks away, an easy 5-minute walk. You can be into Manhattan in 20 minutes or so once you board. A perfect stay for my needs.

  • Eugenia was a very nice hostess, the room was cozy, just fine for my needs, and her home is nicely decorated, quiet, and comfortable. Parking in the area wasn't difficult at all, I was never more than a block away. I'd stay again!

  • I spent a Sat night at Eugenia Vigo's apartment in Queens, NYC. I chose this location because it was near LaGuardia. The room was clean and decorated nicely. In fact the whole apt is nicely decorated and attractive. The host is an artist who has made nice use of her art. I came in about 8 PM and left at 5 AM. The apt is in a safe NYC neighborhood. There is a street, a half block away, where I caught a cab in less than a minute. The cab fare is $11-$13. The room has a small fan to cool it. The bathroom is shared. When I came in I was very tired and just wanted a shower and to go to bed. I had my own alarm but she offered to wake me in the morning. She gave me clean towels and water. The host has a quiet, calm demeanor. I enjoyed the brief stay.

  • I stayed at Eugenia's home last week end and it was lovely. Everything was very clean. The room is charming with lots of character. Nice antique armoire for my clothes, lots of plants, adequate internet service, and charming company because E. is a relaxed and gracious hostess. Her home is located in a colorful neighborhood with lots fresh fruit (and fresh juice) vendors, natural food venues, discount clothing stores and restaurants. An easy walk to the #7 train transported me heart of Manhattan, (Grand Central station). Occasionally I transferred to the 4, 5 or 6 line to meet up with friends in the East village and Soho. I recommend Eugenia's place and plan to stay there again as soon as I get a chance.

  • How does this sound" During the time I stayed at Eugenias house I enjoyed my stay very much, while staying at her house she and her son made me feel very comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quite, only blocks away from the 7 train, there are also plenty of places to go eat, go grocery shopping, do laundry, etc. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay."

  • My flight arrived in LGA around midnight so I wanted to choose a place near both LGA and metro since I need to continue traveling the next day to Grand Central. This is the perfect location. And the area is pretty safe.
Eugenia is a wonderful host and her apartment is unbelievably amazing! Her handmade decorations are very artsy. The room is comfortable and I slept really well. I will definitely come back!

  • I loved the place, nice location, nice neighborhood, plenty of restaurants in the area, closed to the 7 train line stop, closed to La Guardia Airport, Nice Host, Liza was very helpful with directions and highlights spots. I m happy of my stay except for I get the apartment keys on my second day of my stay and there is an useless hanger accessory in the shower that make shower time uncomfortable.
