Good little place for two couples. The kitchen had most everything we needed so we made a lot of our own meals. Water pressure in the shower wasn't good. Our host Jonathan was wonderful! He was always smiling and gave us great recommendations.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Rodrigo and Macella. The Dom is super interesting although it could use with a little sprucing up (lick of paint a few nice pictures) the bathroom is gorgeous and beautifully tiled. We had read in reviews concern about loud noise. Our hosts warned us as soon as we arrived about the party on Thursday nights. We decided to join, had amazing drinks and wonderful food. At about 10:30 we started to crash (early morning surf was our priority). The music wasn't loud and we slept fine. The location is great, the food is amazing, an excellent Thai twist to the seafood available. Overall a lovely stay.

I had a wonderful time staying with Rodrigo y Marcela! Everything is just as advertised and everyone working here is so kind and lovely... I immediately felt right at home. The location is directly across the street from the best surf break and close to many amazing cafes and restaurants. I will definitely come back to stay again!

Staying at the dome was a unique experience. Very welcoming and helpful host. Good location across the street from the beach. Minor issues with the upper level being much warmer due to the a/c being downstairs (although the 2 sleeping upstairs were comfortable with the fan). Fridge downstairs was loud which could intrude on light sleepers in the downstairs bedroom. Kitchen provided. No bowls.

We stayed in the "Dome House" at Alma Resort for Christmas and New Years 2015. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of four and we sincerely enjoyed our time with the hosts. The property also has an amazing restaurant and lovely (intimate) bar for drinks after the kids go to sleep. We look forward to visiting again, and would highly recommend this property to others.

The Dome House was a fun experience! Location and neighborhood are great. Many restaurants (including Rodrigo's own restaurant) are only minutes away. There's also a supermarket and a great French bakery just down the road. Playa Santa Teresa is only a 5 min walk away. Rodrigo and his family have been wonderful hosts and very helpful whenever we had questions or needed help with anything.

Our hosts, Rodrigo and Francesca (sp?), we're great. They assisted us when we needed it, made sure our stay was comfortable and respected our privacy. The Howler monkeys are fun to watch from the covered porch. The dome houses are beautiful inside. One comment: although the dome has air conditioning, it does not cool the upper bedroom, so bring a fan. All said, I would return again. A very short walk to the beach takes you to a breath-taking, beautiful escape from reality; soft sand, Palm trees for Shade and surfers on the great waves. Jean-Paul & Helga
