In light of the recent earthquakes I am happy to say that the building is earthquake-safe. I've experienced both big ones at home, and everything is fine!

Location was and central and perfect as you can get. Clean room and a comfy flat. The shower and bathroom facilities are more than adequate . The bed was comfortable and the bedroom has it's own air conditioner.
Shadoe was pleasant to deal with and made me feel at home right from the start. She was happy to assist with recommendations, phone calls and even my courier mail. It was a pleasure to stay in her flat.
Shadoe is a great host and I would highly recommend the stay if you are looking for an accommodation in the center of Wellington.
This is a great little place to stay right in the centre of Wellington. You can literally walk out and be surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants, walk down to the habour, museums. It does get a little rowdy late at night, (but I was there during freshers weeks when all the students come out to play). There is a great wine bar down the road called Ancestral which is worth going to for their 200+ impressive wine list.
The apartment was really clean, and Shadoe was a great host. She took me out for a drink the first night I arrived which made me feel really welcome and invited me out a few times during the week, but sadly I couldn't make it. Unfortunately, our paths didn't cross too much much after that- but we did manage to wave goodbye the following week.
I would totally recommend this place as somewhere to stay, especially if you don't like walking up and down all the steep hills around Wellington.
Shadoe was a great host! Loved the location and her place was so cozy and fun. Glad I was able to scoop up the place because she had been booked a lot lately and it really is the perfect place to stay while in town. Easy access to everything! Don't hesitate if you are looking!
Shadoe's apartment is lovely and in the perfect location downtown. I just needed a quick night in Wellington and Shadoe was very accommodating. I highly recommend staying in her home and will look her up again if I get back to Wellington.
Great place and awesome location.
Place is amazing, perfect location and big enough for our four guests that stayed. Great host and a recommended place to stay for anyone!
Shadoe is a great host and the apartment could not be better located to explore all that Wellington has to offer. I spent 3 nights there. Excellent experience.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Wellington is a great place to visit and that was made all the better by staying at Shadoe's perfectly situated apartment. We didn't have a car so were easily able to walk to shops, restaurants, museums, and along the water for miles. The apartment is nicely furnished -very clean and tidy, too. For us - it was the perfect place to stay.
Shadoe does not exaggerate when she says her apartment is in the best location for exploring Wellington. We found it a clean, comfortable and convenient home base from which to see the city on foot and by bus. In her communication with us prior to our stay, Shadoe was thorough and concise in her instructions. We would stay with Shadoe again, and recommend her listing to others--except for people traveling with very young children. Because the apartment is built on various levels with interior stairs between living areas, there may be risk of crawlers or toddlers falling.
