Perched above a quiet street, you're in the heart of trendy Echo Park and LA's east side. A very clean, artsy home with design conscious amenities throughout, a full kitchen, private parking space, sitting porch and 5-20 min. walk from shops & cafes.
This house is the front house of two houses on a lot. The house is 1000 square feet, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath with an extra "media room" that can also be used as a 3rd bedroom with a futon couch. There are 2 queen beds, 1 futon bed (sleeps 2), and 1 Queen floor mattress. We prefer that the couch not be used for sleeping. We are family friendly. There is a pack-n-play for toddlers. Master bath with shower is located in the master bedroom. Second bath with shower located off the kitchen.
You have full access to the front house and rental comes with parking. Park in the driveway to the right of the house. The property contains two houses on a lot. The back house is currently occupied by a tenant. You have access to the backyard, back patio with picnic table. The laundry room is shared with the back house. The laundry room is on the lower level of the rear house to the left. There are two washers and two dryers for communal use, free of charge.

Hi, I own and operate Black Star Projects, a design and build firm. This house belongs to my wife and I. This was our first home together. I restored this house, put a lot of love and care into it and tried to preserve the rustic nature of the traditional California craftsman. It's furnished with a few of my furniture designs and we hope you'll find this house an artistic retreat or a sweet and charming getaway.
We are meticulously clean about our property and because we live close by, we try to be as responsive as possible.
