A nice comfortable apartment just in few steps from Piazza Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona, in the heart of antient Rome! It has a private entrance from the street and it is composed of:
a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed;
a living room with a double sofa bed;
a kitchenette fully equipped;
a bathroom with shower.
WIFI internet, TV sattelite. Safe box. Overhead fan.
Independent heating system.
This apartment is in a great location and has the advantage of being on the ground floor. The level of cleanliness in the apartment needs to be improved. The furnishings were comfortable although some people might find the beds too hard (suited me though). The water pressure is a bit low, as commonly found in old Rome. Olga was always friendly and very helpful and efficient. I found the instructions for rubbish and recycling to be confusing.
We stayed at Olga's apartment for 3 nights. We enjoyed the location, which is close to everything you need and within walking distance of all the major sites. The apartment is the best equipped we have stayed at with everything you need. Olga helped to organise a transfer from the train station which was very helpful given the amount of luggage we had.
Just perfect! The apartment and the host!
The apartment is wonderful, with all the necessary accessories - great kitchen with everything you need in order to cook, lovely living room and even a nice small library with a lot of travel guides. But the main thing is that it has just awesome location - at a beautiful alley which located just ON the campo di fiori. You just couldn't ask for a better location in my opinion!
And Olga is a great host as well! We came with a baby (BTW - perfect apartment for family) and Olga helped us with everything we needed (she even brought especially for us an heater for the baby!). She was kind to us and took care that everything goes well!
It was my first experience with airbnb. It has finally changed the way I used to arrange my accommodation being abroad. I would recommend everyone to consider this resource as an alternative to, for example, (website hidden). About my stay in Campo di Fiori. We spent there 4 days in total. The location is great. We didn't have to use any public transport during our stay in Rome, except for the last day to reach the train station. Everything is in walking distance: 20-30 min to Vatican or Forum. We met the host on time. She gave us two mobile numbers, one of which didn't respond. Fortunately, we remembered about the existence of the second one after of 15 minutes of panic. The apartment is at the ground floor. But real entrance is hidden by the courtyard, so as result it is still quite. The apartment is tidy and have lots of handy stuff. But I also must admit that it's not superior clean. We had to wash all dishes before using it. I personally found only one disadvantage of this place is high dampness. Our clothes was always wet and bed linen too. On the last day when we tuned on the heating, we discovered that the floor has heating too, which is awesome! I would rather recommend other people to stay there. Unlikely you will find anything much-much better for that price. Enjoy your holiday in Rome. And thanks Olga for the hosting!
The very best location for tourists in Rme! We walked to all the major sites. Campo di Fiori is always bustling but the apartment was quiet. The best bakery in Rome for bread and pizza is on one corner and a wonderful salumeria on the other. There were several supermarkets and a laundromat only a few blocks away.
Oga was very accommodating and answered all our requests very promptly. She welcomed us an Easter cake and made reservations for cars to and from the airport. She even lent us a cell phone to use. The kitchen equipment was well stocked and there was lots of bedding and towels.
The downside wa a very hard bed and a shower with low water pressure and lukewarm, never hot, water. In cold weather, the heat is only on for a few hours three times a day.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and the apartment felt like home.
First, we always try to stay near the Campo, and this apartment is very near, about on block up Via dei Cappellari. You have everything right at your fingertips. Despite our ages, we could still walk most places we wanted to go.
The apartment itself was perfect, although the large bed was a little too hard since I've had major back surgery but the other bed and futon were fine. Internet worked great and I could watch English news which, of course, they do not have on the TV
It was roomy, well furnished and most importantly on the ground floor. Be very careful booking European apartments. Some of the best are on upper floors with no elevator, so be sure you can manage any stairs. I am unable to climb stairs very well and I have had problems.
I highly recommend this apartment for a Rome stay.
