My home is nestled in the sleepy Belvidere neighborhood in West Seattle with a view of Mount Rainier, Cascade Mountain range and some of downtown Seattle. The neighbors are very friendly.
You are a short car drive or a few minute walk to restaurants, shopping, cafes, bars, and the famous Alki Beach. There is also a water taxi that will take you to downtown Seattle. There are also several bus stops close by.
On the main floor is a bedroom (queen bed) and a bathroom. The dining room can seat up to 10. There is also a bbq on the patio so feel free to use it. The house is great for entertaining.
The second floor is the master suite. It has an 'open' floor plan. Seating area. California king bed. The sofa/lounger also folds out to a king bed or makes into 2 twin beds. Also a deck that overlooks the backyard. You also have views of downtown and Mt. Rainier.
There is a large bedroom, bathroom and den in the basement. The sofa also makes into either a twin bed or king.
My home is pet friendly. There is a dog door located in the kitchen. Fenced backyard. But please no pets on the furniture.
No smoking in the house.
There is wi-fi and very basic tv snd Roku. There is a washer/dryer located in the basement.
Corner lot and off street parking.
Easy access to and from the Sea-Tac Intl Airport. Approx a 15-20 minute drive or approx a 40.00 USD cab ride.
North Bend hiking/Snoqualmie Ski Area is approx a 45 minute (website hidden). Rainer/Crystal Mountain Ski area is approx 1.5 hr (website hidden). Baker Ski area is approx 1.5 hr drive. You are very close to lots of other local activities including wineries, brew houses and downtown Seattle (Space Needle, EMP, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Art Museum).
Seattle is also a great bicycling community!

Rhonda's house is really beautiful. Everything was provided that we needed. Her house is also close to the city, it didn't take long to get there. I would love to stay at Rhonda's house again!
Rhonda's house was very cute and the views from the living room were beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and there was always parking available right outside the house. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Seattle.
We stayed at Rhonda's red house with our 2 kids and my mom. The house is beautiful and very comfortable--- well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, really nice outdoor living area. It's a great neighborhood for walking, shops and restaurants, and is very convenient to both airport and downtown. We'd stay here again!
We loved staying at Rhonda's house in West Seattle. She has done a great job of fixing it up and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is awesome. It is also in a great neighborhood. I must admit, our favorite aspect was the courtyard in her back yard. We enjoyed many glasses of wine relaxing in the courtyard and enjoying the wonderful weather. I very much recommend this house as a great place to stay.
I'm reluctant to leave a good review, only because I want to be able to book Rhonda's place again, and she's such a great host and the house is so awesome that if word gets out too much, it'll be harder and harder to get a booking.
We had stayed at Rhonda's last year when we went to Seattle to visit some friends who had just had a new baby. We were her first AirBNB guests, but you would never have known it. The house is gorgeous, with a cool and funky, but still cozy and comfortable, feel. The views from the huge windows are spectacular and not something you see typically. Rhonda took care of all of the little details that made the place extra special to stay in.
When we decided to visit our friends again, we were thrilled that we were able to book Rhonda's place this time, and it exceeded our already high expectations. There's a really cool new couch in the main bedroom now that folds into two single beds. Our daughters enjoyed pretending to sleep there (being 3.5 and almost 2, they don't actually ever really sleep). We had some wonderful meals on the deck outside. The landscaping provides privacy, space, and there's lots of interesting things to look at. We enjoyed walks in the neighbourhood, picking blackberries and salmonberries, and coaxing local cats to come say hello.
West Seattle is a great area. Easy and quick to get Downtown, but lots to do locally. I'm sure I would enjoy exploring it for weeks and weeks.
I would recommend Rhonda's place to anyone heading to Seattle for a visit. It's a total winner in every respect.
Just don't book it when we want to go there.
Thank you Rhonda! everything was wonderful, the house is beautiful and modern, we loved it! great location, very recommended.
This is a great house. Very nice patio, very clean and interesting decor. We really enjoyed staying here. Thanks Rhonda!
Rhonda's home is beautiful! My family enjoyed staying there and hopes to stay there again on their next trip to Seattle.
A Touch of Modern was a great layout for our group of two married couples and one single (the single guy slept in the living room). It was a very clean house, welcoming and interesting in decor, laid back and relaxed and not too fussy, well-stocked with anything you'd need. I recommend it!
Wonderful place to stay. Rhonda, the owner, was always available for any questions. She was so sweet to leave full instructions and a bottle of wine! The home was
Clean and open. There was a ton of space to have some family over and my 4 year old niece loved the chalkboard in the kitchen. The kitchen is large and easy to cook in. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend staying here and will probably stay here again.
