  • It was great time in Rosalba flat, everything clean, silent enviroment, nice terrace for breakfast and wine time. Shops and restaurants near of bus stop (5minutes by walk from flat). Rosalba has nice dog Puchi-he will welcome you very loudly :) It is around 1 hour by bus and metro to city center. Bus goes every 15 minutes, during weekend every 30 minutes. Only limitation is to be at 23:00 on metro station to catch the last bus back. When there will be metro, it will be even much better. Thank you Rosi for everything and see you:)

  • Renting a room at Rosie - was a big success! We not only found a beautifully furnished and cozy room, but sociable and friendly hostess.
Removing her apartment while staying in Rome, you have the opportunity to see not only the historic center, but also a cozy low-rise suburbs.
Doggie does not hurt you. When Rosie went out of the house, she began to feel sad and you may think that it is not even home.
Rosie, we'll miss you, the gorgeous lemon cupcake and for your dog. Looking forward to see you in Moscow.

    Response from Rosalba:

  • Rosalba is an outstanding host. She helped my boyfriend out even when I was a few days late arriving and even kept my arrival a secret so I could surprise him. Her residence is VERY clean. Bathroom is shared but she has everything set up for privacy. The balcony attached to the bedroom has a washer that she allowed us to use. Her dog is adorable, and well behaved so no troubles there. You will not see her as much throughout the week unless you stay up late into the evening.
The residence is a ways from the city center but it is impossible to get lost reaching it. Once you know the route, its an hour tops to commute back and forth. The bus will be the "make it or break it" depending on traffic. Word of wisdom, DO NOT miss the last bus (11PM) that leaves from her local train station that drops off near her residence. It is a 25EURO cab ride. If you do take a cab, know her exact street address because many have not heard of it (very odd). For late night snacks everything is within walking distance and there are two local bars on her street.

    Response from Rosalba:

Grazie a voi. Spero tornerete presto a trovarmi!

  • The apartment was great. It's very nice and very clean. The bed was also very comfortable. The area around the apartment is safe but can be a little noisy at night.
Rosalba is a great host. Even though we didn't speak the same language we were able to communicate and make things work just fine. She provided a very nice breakfast for us and was very hospitable the whole time we were there.
The only real drawback to this apartment is its location in Rome. Public transport is easy to use from the apartment but it did take us almost 90 minutes to get from the apartment to the Vatican.
I highly recommend staying with Rosalba and in her apartment. Just be prepared to calculate in some extra travel time if staying there.

  • Rosalba was an excellent host! The apartment is a bit outside of the city but still very accessible by bus and the metro. All the amenities were lovely, a great shower, fresh sheets, a very sweet breakfast with homemade cookies and excellent coffee, and lovely company...all in a quiet neighborhood and nice views. This was my first time to Rome, and I will definitely contact Rosalba again :). She is so very thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable about the city and the surrounding area, and her pup is super sweet and playful as well. I had a really great stay! I highly recommend this posting - ! Grazie, Rosalba!

  • Rosalba's apartment is great, it is beautiful and spotless. The only down side is that now my wife wants an apartment like that.
Rosalba is a very nice person, helpful and even with the language barrier she tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We couldn't discuss soccer as we would like, but maybe next time I will speak a better Italian.

About the breakfast, it will never finish before you are full. I think we didn't eat 30% of what was served.

The location isn't very close from the attractions, but it is easily accessible by bus/metro, an average of 40 minutes away. And it will cost you only 1,50 euros, one way.
The area has several shops and restaurants where you can buy cheaper things than city centre.

We stayed 3 nights with her. It was our first time in Rome, and it all went pretty smooth. We visited everything we wanted. And we have no complains.

  • Rosie's place offers such tranquility, and she as a host, such an exemplary Italian host. She even offered me a bathrobe, which I tactfully declined. I was in need to iron my clothes and Bam!!! out came Rosie with this mod-looking iron. There is even a private balcony for you to enjoy the Italian sun. It is clean and neat with a quirky edge cos it at the attic. Debbie, a friend of Rosie's, even offered me a ride to Fiumicino for my early morning flight for a minimal fee just to cover the gas to and from the airport. I had a pleasant experience staying there and would highly recommend any travelers to stay at Rosie's place.

  • Rosalba ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra! é stata molto gentile e al mattino ci preparava una colazione a 5 stelle.
Quando staremo in zona ci ritorneremo senz'altro.
