Rebecca met us at the house and was very welcoming. The apartment is cute and was perfect for our needs. There was even milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. The house itself is full of charm and great value for the price.
Stone mountain house was perfect for our group of 5. Rebecca greeted us and was super friendly. Beds were very comfortable and apartment was charming. We would definitely come back. Thanks for a great stay.
This was a pleasant and enjoyable nights stay coupled with an evening at the Stone Mt Arts Cultural Center, which we went to a dinner/concert of Mavis Staples. The accommodations would allow for a few couples or a large family with the living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and sleeping spots in the large living room.
A private entrance on the side makes coming in late no problem.
Rebecca & Bradford were perfect hosts and most welcoming and helpful in any way needed. The two of us would recommend this spot to anyone or small group!
A most homey and warm reception, complete with coffee, tea, and milk in the fridge! The apartment was home-like and most serene. A wonderful get away in a beautiful place!
The apt we stayed in was perfect- and so sweet- we would be happy to stay there again!
We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment, which had three bedrooms; perfect for the 3 couples in our party. There was plenty of room, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Everything about the accommodations were fine, and were as described. The primary reason we stayed here was it's juxtaposition to Stone Mt. Arts Center. Brownfield is a somewhat remote area in Western Maine. The last time we visited SMAC, we stayed in Fryburg, a larger town with more lodging options. It was more of a hassle getting to the venue from there, so I'm glad we found Stone Mountain House. We will be back
We so enjoyed our stay at Stone Mountain House. This Airbnb listing deserves all the accolades it receives. We were running late so I let our host know. Our host met us upon arrival nonetheless and provided excellent directions to our next destination. The apartment was cozy and spacious. We loved all the artistic touches the hosts have taken. Definitely a five star experience.
