We would love to welcome you into our family home for your visit to Cheltenham in The Cotswolds.
The accommodation consists of the whole top floor of our home, being two double bedrooms both of equal size, both facing southwards. In the photographs you can see that they look out towards a small park.
The first of the rooms has a double bed, cupboards and a chair in the window and the other is a living room with TV, Xbox and a double sofa bed so the accommodation is very flexible indeed.
These rooms come with access to a shared bathroom, normally shared with one other adult.
You are welcome to choose to have just the one bed or both beds made up.
We live on the outskirts of Cheltenham in a modern house on a private estate. There is plenty of parking and we are convenient to get into town or onto the M5 motorway.
Gloucester is just a short hop away and we are convenient to The Cotswolds, including Painswick, Winchcombe, Stow on The Wold, Bibury and Bourton On The Water.
Cheltenham has its fair share of festivals and we are a great place to stay in order to go to them. We are particularly good if you are playing at the music or jazz festivals as there is space to rehearse and play the baby grand piano.
There is a garden for relaxing in the evenings and there is a fenced park opposite if you have kids to run wild!
We are a busy professional family so during the week a continental breakfast will be left out for you to help yourselves but at the weekend we can do the Full Monty.
If you are an electric car driver then we are pleased to offer you the use of our rapid charger. This is a Type-2 socket connection.
Lastly if you want to join us for supper in the evening then this would be great - by prior arrangement.
We stayed with Jasion and Mel for two nites. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the cosy and well appointed rooms, their hospitality in ensuring our stay was comfortable but mostly, the sumptuous breakfast that Jason cooked up to get us going for the day.
Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet and homely feel while away.
Jason and Mel were quite the most fantastic hosts. Welcoming, hospitable, interesting and interested.
What more can I say!
After running our Maude and Fox stand at The Cheltenham Races having somewhere homely to stay in the evenings made the whole experience a pleasure.
Thank you to our hosts for providing cosy rooms, fantastic breakfasts and great company.
We stayed for a night in the lovely family home, Jason and Mel were so accommodating and a joy to spend time with.
I would strongly recommend anyone to stay with them as they will make your trip that bit more special.
My friend Lauren and I booked three days with Jason, Melanie and Alex and were so delighted with their hospitality that we stayed an extra night. Their home is charming and comfortable, and we were made to feel immediately like part of the family. Jason and Mel also were especially helpful advising us on Cotswald walks and where to eat. Both Lauren and I would return to Jason and Mel's B&B in any future visit to England. Thanks to both of them!
Jason and his wife were excellent hosts. The two rooms available for us were really confortable, and they provided us with very helpful advise on local attractions.
Jason and his family are wonderful! I loved my stay here with my mum and they were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were great! Perfect location to explore the Cotswolds for a few days, or more!
My friends and I had a great time during our stay at Jason and Mel's house. They were extremely helpful and friendly, the house was beautiful and very clean. Would definitely recommend!
We stayed with Jason, Mel, and Alex for three nights. They were fabulous hosts! They welcomed us to their home like family. The two rooms we rented were clean and comfortable. The location of their home was very convenient to Bath and The Cotswolds. They were extremely helpful in suggesting points of interest for us. We highly recommend staying with them.
My friend Lottie and I stayed with Jason and Mel for a night during the Cheltenham Literary Festival this year. Apart from our trouble finding the house (due to our combined terrible sense of direction) our stay at their lovely home was absolutely perfect - from the welcoming tea and scones when we arrived to friendly conversation, we felt like friends rather than guests and didn't want to leave! Jason and Mel really did everything to make our stay lovely, from recommending restaurants and cafes to showing us around Cheltenham. The highlight was waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and pain au chocolat...Quiet, tranquil, yet only a few minutes' bus ride from the centre of Cheltenham. Jason, Mel and little Alex are charming and their home a haven - I can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.
