This space is beautiful! It looks out over the river and is a very easy walk to the center of town. There were breakfast vouchers for us to use at an adorable cafe down the street and a bottle of wine for our arrival! Such welcoming and helpful hosts!
We enjoyed our three night stay in this very light and bright attic apartment in Cesky Krumlov. Its' location on the Vlatva River, about 5 minutes' walk from the center of town makes for a quiet stay away from the groups of tourists which come on buses to see the town. The apartment is very clean and well cared for by three sisters who live locally. We recommend CK as a destination to get an idea of life in a medieval town, very different than Prague.
When we walked into Peter's attic studio space, we wished we could have it as our home for a few weeks rather than a few days.
Roomy yet cosy, serene yet cheerful it was a beautifully worked space for the three of us to settle into. We loved the alcove like segmentation of the open plan spaces - felt like a little house with two bedrooms, a living area, a study area, a dining room and kitchen, the sweet attic windows with views into krumlov, the cottage style dining table and wardrobe, the wonderful white bedlinen and the lovely krumlov blue china. My husband who sadly had to spend most of the day writing, was in love with the study table space and kept speaking of the 'positive energy' and how he'd love to come here to write. My daughter and i were happy to flop around, reading and drawing rather than venturing out, because there really was something about this attic that made you want to linger in its quietude. The dreamy book collection alone is worth spending many days for and i tried to speed read as many titles as possible, listing the others for future reference. Dagmar, helpful and warm, settled us in and charmed my daughter with a pink patchwork duvet. Wish we could have used the sunny terrace but we hardly wanted to leave our room. Recommended for anyone wanting a gentle stay in a quiet section of Krumlov.
We had a very nice stay at Peters Place in mid of the beautiful City Cesky Krumlov. Even Krumlov is crowded its charming and with a good atmosphere.
Zdenka and Dagmar gave us a lift from the train station and a warm welcome. Changing the Appartment we received a upgrade and end up in a great Condo with an outstanding terrace in the Heart of Krumlov.
Excellent location right on Vltava River and near Old Town Square. Good view. Tastefully furnished. Very helpful host Dagmar.
This is a most wonderful apartment in a most wonderful city. We did not meet Peter but met his rep and her sister. The two sisters were so very helpful, picked us up at the train station in their little red car and dropped us off when we left. Between the two of them, we were able to communicate in English.
The apartment is just on the outskirts of town (which is maybe one quarter mile to the center). It takes 5 minutes to walk there. The view from the room is spectacular with the river flowing right past the window and private terrace. The bed is comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped although we did not use it after all. She brings breakfast each morning which was enough for many more than the two of us. It was soooo good and fresh.
This is a cozy apartment that I would recommend to anyone.
