  • I would have given it five stars, but the on-going construction starting in the early morn, barking dogs and someone's house or car alarm (over three nights) that went on was a bit of an aggravation. There is a gravel road to get to the complex that is a bit too far for walking to\from the Malecon, so having a car is really preferred. The condo itself is well-equipped. The TV is a bit complicated to use so make sure you get clear instructions on how to operate it, especially if you want to watch movies. Simon is an excellent manager and was very easy to contact both before and during our stay. He has good tips and insight into the area.

  • Great place to stay. The pool and setting were perfect for lazy mornings. Clean and comfortable. Movies. Cable tv and a/c in every room. A big thing of drinking water. I would stay again. And La Paz is a special place with spectacular beaches but almost no foreign tourists.

  • Me and my crew had a really good time in Simon´s place.
The apartment is very nice, clean, well located and comfortable.
We had everything we needed for cooking. Simon provided good tips for dinning places and things to do. He is a very kind person.
Having a pool outside your living room was awesome. This is a great place to stay if visiting La Paz.

  • My family of 4 stayed at this great condo in March. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms and the quality of furnishings and kitchen supplies. We loved the fact that our kids had their own bathroom and that our was so huge. Having the pool right outside our door was great as we could lounge there in the evenings or have breakfast outside in the morning.
We particularly enjoyed the quality of the mattress! Sound funny but nothing ruins a great holiday quite like a bad nights sleep.
We have travelled extensively in Mexico and actually spent 6 months travelling around the mainland back in 2009. I have never had such a good nights sleep as I did here. No roosters or barking dogs to keep us awake!
I read the previous review about scorpions. Maybe they arrive at a certain time of year but we didn't have a single issue with bugs and our kids were always leaving the screen door open.
One thing I would recommend of the owner- if you could supply a beach umbrella and two beach chairs or a beach blanket that would be great! The second rental we visited on this trip supplied one and it was perfect.
The hot water issues have been fixed and everything ran smoothly. There is a little washing machine in the unit as well that wasn't mentioned in the overview- we liked that too! (please provide english instructions!) We would have brought less clothing had we known there was washer.
We don't usually stay in gated communities when we are in Mexico but we would stay here again as long as we have a car. That walk up the hill everyday would be a killer if we didn't have a car.
Thanks to Simon for looking after us and making the check in and out process a smooth one.

  • I had a brief but pleasant solo stay at this property located in a quiet, gated community on top of a hill, essentially at the highest point of La Paz. Please note that you probably would only stay here if you had a rental car, as it would be a rather long walk downhill to reach the Malecon and even further to get to the town center. Simon is friendly, easy to communicate with, and very familiar with La Paz since he and his wife (a La Paz native) operate a real estate company there.

This practically brand new apartment is spacious, well stocked, and a great value considering it could easily accommodate 4 people (or more). The only issue during the stay was intermittent wifi connection related to the building's router.

The next time I visit La Paz, hopefully with friends, I would definitely contact Simon to stay here or one of his other properties.

Thank you for your review Ravindra.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay and hope that you can stay longer next time you visit La Paz.

Not long after your stay the buildings internet system was upgraded meaning it now works very quickly with a strong signal.

Thank you and see you soon.

About
My wife and I recently relocated to Mexico having lived in England together for a year after getting married. It is a new experience for me living in such a laid back paradise, rather than a normal city in the middle of a normal country, and I am loving every minute of it, and I want to share our great city with you. My wife grew up here in La Paz so it isn't so much new for her, but that is great as it means she knows everything and everyone in the city, meaning if you are looking to do more than sit by the pool she will be able to point you in the right direction and recommend you who to talk to to get the best seats and the best deals. Together we established a Real Estate and Rental business when we arrived in La Paz, and we are having a great time. If you are interested in hearing more about us or are interested in purchasing a home in our beautiful city then please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to help you. We are also fluent in both English and Spanish and are on hand to provide you with our expert support and guidance.
