The entrance to the building is located between the terraces of Restaurant Café de Turin.

You can find a place around the building.
Or go to the website "Parkego" about 15 euros per day. Thank you to say that you have an apartment to Salvatore.
The apartments are located on the edge of the old town along the Castle Hill, and are ideally located between down-town and the harbour.
The first extension of Old Nice northward, Place Garibaldi today is lined by elegant red façades with green shutters and vaulted porticoes, in which the Blue Penitents’ chapel, Chapelle du Saint-Sépulcre, is perfectly integrated. A statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi stands in the middle of this square that is central to the life of the city.
They are surrounded by coffee shops, shops and restaurants, and are at few minutes walking distance from the beach. Everything the seaside, the historical centre, the Castle Hill, the harbour, the main street and down-town have to offer is at your door!
The apartments have been renovated in January 2012 with quality materials and furniture. They are very fitted (see list below), bright, elegant, clean and have very high ceilings.

When arriving we were met at Salvatore's office and the associate were very friendly and helpful. Our questions were answered and we received a map filled with information about Nice and nearby cities.
The apartment is perfectly located, close to both the beach, the main shopping street and the old town. Everything is within walking distance. It is a bus stop right down the street that will take you to nearby beaches and Monaco. It is equipped with almost everything you need for a short stay, although we wished to have a little more things in the kitchen.
We enjoyed our stay in Salvatore's apartment and I highly recommend you to stay there if you are 1-3 persons who wants to enjoy the city.
We spent our holidays in Nice from 10 to 17 August, there were three people of us, two adults and one child 11 years. Overall, we liked the apartment 8 from Salvatore in Place Garibaldi, 5. We liked the location, on the first floor of the house is the famous Café de Turin, which since 1907 is one of the best places in Nice, where for you can offer a wide choice of seafood. The house has an elevator. The beach is a 10 minutes walk or two stops on the tram. Very close to the local fish market and the market of agricultural products. “Monoprix” supermarket is just opposite the house. The apartment windows overlook the courtyard, and the noise is not audible. We met near the apartment Salvatore”s cousin Stephan, who gave us the key and explained to us in great detail how to use electrical appliances, when throw garbage, etc. Salvatore always answered our questions, but instead calls better to send text. The apartment has a modern kitchen, has everything you need for cooking, there is a small (unfortunately, very small) balcony with the table where you can eat. Hot water was not a problem. Linen is in the apartment, was packed in cellophane and absolutely clean. There are clean towels (large and small).Internet was very good.
But still, I want to mention some shortcomings.
First and most importantly - air conditioning! We stayed there in mid-August and the temperature reached 35 degrees Celsius, and we just melted from the heat. Fans are rather small and they do not save. Even if you do not plan to stay in the apartment, and traveling and going to the beach, it is still very hot at night.
The second - a shower. If you take a shower longer than a few minutes, the water begins to pour out of the pan and pour the floor near the front door. This is very inconvenient and even dangerous because you can slip and fall.
Well, finally the ants. The apartment has a special facilities against them on the floor, but they do not help, and still a lot of ants, so you need to ensure that food is safely hidden.
Overall, the apartment is good, the location is excellent, the owner friendly and wants to help. Of the 10 I would put 8.
Good luck to all of you a wonderful holiday in Nice and on the French Riviera!
We had a nice stay in Garibaldi Square, historic center, apartment 8. We were very well received by Salvatores cousin who gave us many good tips for our 12 days holiday in Nice. The appartment is perfectly situated in the old town and equipped with everything you need - except from air condition. We knew there was no air condition when we booked the apartment - we just didn't think it would be a problem. With temperatures around 30 degrees celsius both day and night we were melting in the appartment. The appartment is facing the small backyard and there is no wind at all. A fan is just not enough for the summer temperatures. Other than that we can recommend a stay in this location.
Awesome stay! :) Salvatore was a great host, replied within minutes and was very supportive. The apartment is cute and was very good located, supermarket, tram, restaurants and the historic quarter are right next to it. You should try the restaurant Turin right infront of the apartment! :)..Thanks Salvatore, we will definitely come back!
