We loved our stay in Byron. Emma welcomed us with recommendations on visiting local spots which we really appreciated as we don't like to go the normal tourist places.
The room is cute and cozy with a private entrance on the side of the house. Emma has decorated it beautifully with boho chic accents and the back patio is divine.
Definitely recommend this gem. Could have stayed much longer!
Staying at blueberry court was really lovely; emma is a lovely, kind and open person who made me feel very welcome. The studio was beautiful - all whites, creams and natural wood with a kitchen of my own and a loft double bed and easy access to a lovely bathroom. Everywhere, out of every window, was ferns and plants it was very calm and beautiful. The room lead out onto a side path through doors that I kept open so I could have the breeze come through and hear the sounds of the birds and bushland. The backyard was gorgeous too with a lawn and a shady verandah where i felt comfortable to sit and relax and read. A truly serene and blissful home. Thanks emma.
I had a lovely stay at Emma's cute place. It's extremely clean and comfortable and has everything you need for a stay in Byron. The bike she makes available is such a delight to use as a fun way to zip in to town, very thoughtful. Emma is a sweetheart with a really great vibe and great taste. My only qualm was the slightly annoying child next door bouncing his basket ball constantly early on weekend mornings... Obviously a Christmas present... I'm sure he will get bored of it.. so don't let this put you off this lovely place..
My girlfriend and I found Emma to be a terrific host who always willing to offer advice about Byron Bay, and looked after our every need. I highly recommend Emma's place, especially for those who likes to be surrounded by nature. Thanks Emma!
Emma was a great host and her place is good, basic Byron Bay accommodation.
Like other reviewers have said, the ladder to the bed is high.
There were also a lot of ants and bugs around the kitchen area and also in the bathroom. Given that the house is in very lush, green surroundings and it was very hot on the days we stayed (temps in the mid 30s) and it rained a lot overnight, this is to be expected. But it's not suitable for anyone who dislikes bugs!
It's just under 4kms to town and we hired another bike so we could both ride into town. This is a lot of fun.
There was only one fan on the days we stayed as the other fan had broken and the hardware store was closed so Emma couldn't replace it. I imagine it would be a more comfortable stay with two fans.
My sister and I had a fabulous stay at Emma's house and So I would definitely recommend staying at Emmas house! She makes you feel very welcome, is helpful when needed but also gives you your space :) the neighborhood was very nice but is a bit far (walking distance) from out of town so hiring another bike (as she only provides one) definitely needs to be done. All in all we really enjoyed our time in Byron bay at Emma's house :)
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Emma's B&b. Emma was warm and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were well equipped for our stay in Byron. We loved the loft bed and the peaceful surrounds of the neighborhood. Emma provides a bike which came in handy for our trips into town and to the beach, with both rides only taking around 10-15 minutes. The place is perfect to relax and to get away from the business of Byron's town centre, but close enough to enjoy it too. Highly recommend!
