We had a very nice time in Amalie's apartment during our stay in Copenhagen. She gave us very good advice for a variety of activities! It was fun to stay in her place!
The appartment is as nice as it looks at the pictures and is well situated. It was easy to communicate with Amalie beforehand and she provided us with all the information we asked for.
Amalie's apartment contributed in a great way in making my stay in Copenhagen a most comfortable, cozy and an inspiring one. Her place is truly inspiring with lots of character and ingenious interior design ideas using recycled material. I specially loved her kitchen sink and table. Although not big, every corner of the apartment is optimally arranged to make living both practical and comfortable. I stayed 28 nights there and it was a truly lovely induction to life in Copenhagen. First of all, the apartment is located in what I now believe is the most cool, young, artistic and hip area in Copenhagen, at the heart of Norrebro. It has a lot of charming cafes, very good restaurants (from thai, to sushi and moroccan) and small second hand furniture and design shops. Amalie is a fantastic host, conscientious, friendly and attuned to your needs. The apartment is on the 5th floor in a building with no elevator (which is the case for most apartments in Copenhagen), so you also get a good workout everyday for free.
All in all, I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Copenhagen to stay at Amalie's, especially those young at heart and those who are environment conscious.
We didn't get to meet Amalie, but her friend who let us in was very helpful and nice. The apartment was as described, beautiful and really charming. Hygge as the Danes would say. The only minus was the shower that was functioning a little so and so as the water pressure was so low. But we still got ourselves cleaned and ready for the day each day, so this was not a big problem. There was everything we needed for 4 nights stay. The kitchen is very cosy and has all you need to make breakfast or a meal. In this neighborhood you don't really need to because there are really nice restaurants and cafes everywhere. Location couldn't be any better. The bed is really comfy and the balcony more than we could've hoped for. We really enjoyed our stay.
Amalie's apartment is really charming, bright, very comfortable & "zen", and also well located. We've spent a delightful week here. Amalie and her friend Karen welcomed us very well and told us many advices to enjoy Copenhagen. The neighborhood is cool, hype and nevertheless very calm. I won't hesitate to come back here when i'm back in Copenhagen. This was such a pleasant place. Thanks Amalie. Tak
Merci

The apartment really IS charming and cosy. There are 2 rooms which are quite big, a nice little kitchen and a lovely balcony. Also, there's an amazing princess bed, which is so much fun :)
The street is very quiet and It's a 5 minute walk from Norrebro, a big street with lots of great food places, shops, buses, supermarkets and everything you need. On that street you can take a bus (which comes every 5 minutes) to the center of the city, and it's only 2 stops. So the location is really-really good. The heating works great, the neighbors are quiet and the apartment has everything you need. It's on the 5th floor without an elevator, so it's also a free gym for your butt :D
