A very nice location, small (very small!) but very well organized. We managed to stay both of us and spend nice time there.
Pierre is a wonderful host and we did enjoy our stay.
Only comment is the morning noise but it is a small inconvenient compared to the chance of being in a "different" place.
If you look for a singular and romantic place, this is it.
The location is absolutely unbeatable, especially at the price. The apartment has pretty much everything a person might need, and I slept well, (though earplugs might be needed if you wanted to sleep late). Pierre was a very accommodating and helpful host. As others have said, it is small, so I would highly recommend it to lone guests. Heavily built couples might find it a challenge.
We had a wonderful stay at Pierres studette. The Apartment is very small which is not a Problem. You feel very comfortable and it is Perfect for a Couple and located in Paris Nicest Area called Marais .Everything is clean and modern. We Loved it there and did Not even want to leave Paris. We defenetly would recommend a stay at Pierres studette .
The studette means very small apartment, serious 9 square meters; but think that at the end of the day lots of Parisian hotel rooms are very small and the studette is very well located with a great price even if all the restrictions.
The apartment was clean and things worked just fine.
We recommend if you are looking for a premium location on small budget, but don't plan to do much living in the apartment beyond sleeping and shower. The wifi works very fine by the way.
First and foremost the apartment is in an amazing location, walk-able to any number of locations including Notre Dame, The Louvre, cafes and shopping in the Marais, and much, much more. The apartment itself is very small, but worked just fine for one person. The stairs adjacent to the room were having some work done while I was staying there, so repairmen/workers showed up every morning at about 8am and began talking outside the door and hammering away. Not that big of a deal as it served as a morning alarm for me to get out of the apartment and go explore the city, but it would have annoyed someone trying to sleep in. Everything was very clean, and all the appliances, bathroom things, etc. worked just fine. Pierre was very responsive to all my questions. Overall a good stay and I would recommend the apartment to solo travelers or couples who are OK with small accommodations.
My wife and I stayed last week for 6 nights on Pierre's Studette. To be honest is small, way smaller than we thought. But in the end, is cozy for two people traveling light. The Studette is completely equipped and got everything you need to stay comfortable. The place is secured with a big front door which opens with a code. The studette is in the courtyard and guarded by a building next door. There may be some noise early at the evening but people living on this address respect others sleep and the nights were mostly quiet.
The best thing about this place is definetely its Location! There are two Metro stations nearby, many restaurants, some cafés, pastry shops and a supermarket where you can get everything you need to fix yourself a quick meal or to make some breakfast, saving a couple of Euros of Paris' high cost of living.
Pierre is a great host and eventhough we coiuldn't meet him, he was very kind and responsible and always replied emails within minutes. That's a huge plus!
A tip for those going to Paris for the first time: Get the Paris Pass!!! You will get free entrance skipping the line to many museums, including the Louvre, a wine tasting, a river cruise, plus you get full day passes for public transportation. Value!!!
We certainly recommend Pierre and his Studette; you will make sacrifices in terms of space, but will win big with a privilegde location.
