  • It's a perfect location in Paris. You can't find more places better than this one. Cheap and near to everywhere. Sophie is a perfect owner. :) House is small but very usefull.

  • Convenient location, definitely large enough place to crash for few nights. But condition of the studio and everything in it - bedding (no sheets. Just badly stained waterproof mattress covers), towels, closet (what a piece of art it is!), shower (which is the size of vertically set casket) - are disgusting and humiliating. Absolutely anti-sanitary place, shelter for homeless seems like a luxury accommodation compared to it. One star is for location only.

  • Great location! I went there for 2 nights with my boyfriend and being in the center of paris let us discover all the city by walking or by metro (there is a metro station on the street which has connection to a lot of metro lines).
We just went to the studio to sleep so I have nothing to say about the kitchen equipment though it seems pretty well equipped. The studio is small but clean and everything was as we expected. We had no worries with the keys or the lack of toilet paper, everything was ok!

  • Location was excellent. Close to everything- shops, cafes, supermarket, tourist spots. Space is too small for 4 people even with 2 small children like ours. The linens, blankets and pillows could use more cleaning and washing or can be replaced with new ones. Phone is not working properly but all other small applicances including thé washer is useful. Price is fair. Expect to go 3 flights of stairs everytime, no elevators. Safe and quiet. Sophie replies promptly when you inquire or ask anything. Overall, it was a good expérience.

  • It was my first airbnb experience. Sophie was very quick to answer all my queries before our arrival. Unfortunately on the day we were supposed to check in, the room key was misplaced by the guest the night before and Sophie only communicated through mail and airbnb but since we were already travelling I did not get it on time. And nobody was there to inform us about anything. I have to spend a long distance call from my mobile to contact her.. Sophie or her cleaner should have been there to inform us or even just leave a note to tell us that a locksmith has to unlock the room and we could only check in at late afternoon. In short, we ended in a hotel so as not to waste the whole day waiting for our room to be unlocked. Instead of a 3-day stay at Sophie's, we stayed 2 days only. Room is basic, pillows need to be replaced though and basic toilet paper has not been replenished. Towels need fabric softener, it's too rough for the skin, the floor towel is even softer than the towel(no offense but this is the truth). For the 50 euro cleaning fee, I expect a better quality basic things for the guest. And to top it all, you have to prepare yourself to climb 5 flights of stairs with your luggage. The only good thing though is a fast wifi connection.

  • The place is just perfect if you want a simple place in the middle of Paris. It is very accessible everywhere, a grocery, bakeries, the metro and shops. The apartment is small but clean, the sheets were new, the bathroom has hot and cold water, basic appliances needed like, fridge, toaster, hair blower, water heater, etc. Next time we go to Paris we will definitely book Sophie's place again.

  • I can only confirm other people's opinions:perfect location, the studio exactly as one might have expected from the description;basic but (email hidden)ry French indeed, the imperfections made it more genuine ,considering the fact that the house probably remembered Victor Hugo and the flagstones downstaiis might have remembered Quasimodo himself ,being very much like those in Le Chapelle. The walls of the staicase (very nice) was being renovated.
Sophie was very responsive, answering any questions immediately. The written instructions were detailed and informative, absolutely no trouble with the keys if you are careful.
The studio is a great base for walkig but if you want to go to the more distant places it's best to use the metro. There is a statinon on the street but you can't buy tickets there ,so it is best to buy a metro pass for the whole week. It's quite cheap.
If I ever go to Paris again I will stay in the same place.
    Thank you Sophie.

  • I really love the appartment. It was in the center of Paris, being able to discover all the city by walking or commuting by 15 min. There is a train station and a supermarket in a 20 metres walk.

The appart is correct for 4 guys who want to discover Paris, so just being in the appart to sleep. It was really easy to recover the keys and the ratio quality/price is close to 5.
