The space
The Mint Cottage is a spacious one-bedroom house completely renovated in 2023 and newly furnished with organic modern décor. Features include:

Open floor plan: The large, fully-equipped kitchen, living room and dining area combine in this open floor plan. The living room has a 75" Smart TV and a brand new, comfortable leather pull-out coach with a premium memory foam mattress, making the house suitable for up to four guests.

Master Bedroom: King-sized bed with a full-sized desk, reading chair and a large walk-in closet. French doors lead out to a private balcony with bistro table and chairs.

Master Bath: Large round soaking tub, glass enclosed shower, double vanity and separate water closet.

Powder Room: Custom acacia vanity, French designer wall paper and seeded glass fixtures.

Laundry Room: Samsung washer and dryer with a wall-mounted ironing board and iron, drying rack, sink and counter space.

Front Porch: The comfortable rocking chairs overlook nearby pastures, fields, and a quaint church with grand views of Massie's and Jenkins Mountains and the eastern ridge of Shenandoah Park and Skyline Drive.

Rappahannock’s been our home for the last 20 years. We ran The Foster Harris House B & B for 13 years, published a cookbook and ran local cycling tours. After that, we transformed a neglected building in Sperryville into the award-winning Three Blacksmiths. The Mint Cottage began as an unloved, vacant building, now completely renovated with guest comfort in mind.
