  • My wife and I were in town for just one night and stayed on Steve's yacht. Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful time. I would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston who is interested in doing something different than the standard hotel stay. You will not be disappointed.

  • Very enjoyable stay, the yacht was perfect.

  • Poor management. The waste tank was full and we were unable to use the toilets. One would think that the waste would be pumped out prior to guests' arrival but apparently the manager does not know how to monitor these basic fundamentals of managing a boat. What we hoped to be a pleasant and unique experience turned into a mess.

    Response from Steve:

The yacht was reserved for two guests. Upon housekeeping inspection, it appeared these 2 guests somehow multiplied (email hidden)ly party! The rear head was clogged with EXCESSIVE paper towels, yet it was obvious the CLOGGED head continued being used. It would have only taken a 5 minute walk to the new bath houses?? Never has housekeeping seen such a catastrophe with food, ketchup (or blood) left on the carpet runners on the yacht.

  • We were on a Honeymoon road trip through Charleston and had difficult finding a room. We were told about Air B&B and ran across Steve's boat as a possibility. Neither my wife or j had stayed on a boat overnight and we both agreed it was out best night if sleep the whole trip. Steve was a good guy who even hooked us up with a fishing excursion for the following day. What a great memory!

  • Lucky Me is an amazing boat and made for a memorable stay in Charleston for us. Much more fun than a hotel room! The Marina is lovely and our stay included access to the Pool and Hot tub at the Springhill Suites next door. So we had it all.

There is no cooking in the boat so be aware of that, but of course there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Try Taste of India! We'll be back!

  • My boyfriend and I had a perfect night aboard "Lucky Me". We even saw some fireworks since it was July 3rd. Such a nice, relaxing night and I really hope we get to do it again soon.

  • We had such a great girls weekend staying on Steve's yacht. We were comfortable and had so much more privacy than a hotel room. Steve was always accessible by phone if we needed anything or had any questions. The hotel shuttle next door was extremely convenient to get downtown and back at night. This was such a unique and special place to stay in Charleston.

  • My friend and I had a night to stopover in Charleston, and Steve's boat was just perfect! A real luxury experience! Power, water, WiFi, everything was taken care of for us, and Steve met us on the marina to talk us through everything. Would definitely stay again!

  • Stay on Steve's yacht was incredible! Gave me a thorough rundown on how to operate all the essentials and was always a phone call away if I had any questions. The boat had all the amenities you could ask for, along with a great view looking out from the marina. Would recommend this over any stay in one of the high end hotels downtown.
