Everything about this rental with Steve will meet or exceed your expectations! The yacht is well maintained and a spectacular place to spend a couple of nights or longer! We wish we could have stayed longer and will, the next time we return!
The yacht is impeccably clean, everything in its place and Steve was there to make sure that we got a quick walk thru and tutorial on how to use everything, the marina, etc.
We were at the marina during the weekend of a big fishing tournament. This was an added bonus, as these guys knew how to party! The marina had great amenities, parking and easy access. Superior to previous rentals in the area in terms of the quality of the marina/slip location. This is a plus.
Click now to reserve with Steve. You'll be glad you did. Part of me wants to keep this a secret so it's not booked and I can come back! :) Thanks again for everything!
Steve is a friendly host and met us at the yacht to go over everything. The boat was very nice and comfortable...loved the sound system! The Yacht Club was nice and it was neat to watch the boats coming and going throughout the day. The water on the boat didn't work on the second day of our trip but we were using the bathhouse for showers anyways so we decided not to bother Steve about it. We had a great experience and would recommend the yacht as it is a much different stay than your standard hotel room. The location was great and so close to downtown! Watching the sunset from the deck was beautiful!
We are very happy you enjoyed your stay in Charleston on "Lucky Me!" Please, if ever there are any issues/problems in the future, do not hesitate to call me. The water would have been an easy, one minute fix. It most likely wasn't turned back on after the charter. Thank you for your visit and comments!
The accommodations were clean and as advertised. The host and I had a brief communication issue at the pre-arranged check-in time, but it was not an inconvenience that effected our trip. Steve was a kind and affable host. I would recommend this venue for a couple or a few friends enjoying charleston. The host charged a fair rate considering the rates hotels were charging downtown due to C of C's graduation. I'd do the trip all over again, though I would probably take advantage of the charter opportunity to see Charleston from the water. The stay on the boat was the best idea my girlfriend ever had...besides her invention patent.
This reservation was a bit of a disappointment. Charleston was great but our stay in the yacht was lackluster. Steve was a poor communicator and did not do anything to make us feel welcome, except to repeat how expensive his boat was. He's in the AirBnB business for the money, not for the people and the community - which might be fine with most people, it was just a little off-putting for us.
While a cleaning service had been there, the boat was a mess - most of the cabinets were full of junk and there was 5 month-old orange juice and freezer-burnt ice cream, to give you a bit of a mental picture.
The kitchen was off-limits, but Charleston has plenty of great eateries anyway.
If you're curious - we were - you can charter the boat for $250 per hour. We didn't see this listed anywhere and were curious.
Sorry there was no extra room in the overhead bins, we keep navy lap blankets for cruising charts, flare gun, we do have one closet for guests. We know you wanted to drive the yacht but you have to be a Captain. This guest booked for 2 guests but at check in said there would be 4 adults and they would pay the charge, which left us all very uncomfortable. There is no cooking on any of the yachts, we had housekeeping discard the OJ, thanks for letting us know.
Fantastic! My 5 year old was thrilled! Super easy to book, Steve was extremely helpful, and our overnight stay was exceptional!
Great experience staying Steve's yacht! Beautiful location and accommodations. Will repeat.
We had a wonderful stay and Steve was a great host.
The location was perfect to downtown and Folley Beach. The showers and facilities at the yacht club was fine and clean. All in all we had a great time. Thanks again.
