The best location you can get in Rome, one of the best views ever, and a beautiful little terrace. 3 ingredients that will make your stay unique.
Can sleep up to 5 people. Extremely quiet and well decorated. Be prepared to climb up to the 4th floor!

The space

The apartment is extremely bright and quiet. It has been recently restored, it has beautiful wooden ceilings and stunning views from each window. It is composed of a master bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa bed and a wooden loft with 2 single beds, dining room, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view onto S. Peter's Cupola while having breakfast or dinner or a nice glass of wine, fully equipped bathroom and kitchen, and a nice and pleasant balcony, from where you can enjoy the view on Roman's roofs and the heart of Rome.

The apartment can sleep up to 5 people. It is on a 4th floor with no elevator. Independent heating, A/C, dish washer, washing machine, hair dryer.

The apartment could not be better located. It is only 100 meters from the square of Campo dei Fiori, and only a few steps from Piazza Farnese and Piazza Navona, and also Rome's main attractions are just walking distance.

The area is famous for the large choise of restaurants, cafes and pubs, and to get lost in the small streets around the house still finding small artisans shops and fashion boutiques at the same time is just priceless!

Transportation available for all the other areas of the city. Taxi station just round the corner.

To make your stay unforgettable I can organize for your transfers from and for the airport, breakfast basket, lunch or dinner at the apartment, and if you have a special event to celebrate, just let me know and I will be happy to make arrangements for you.

Guest access

All my guests have access to the entire apartment and to the pleasant balcony from where you can enjoy one of the best views ever!

Interaction with guests

I usually await guests at the address of the apartment, so that I can explain everything regarding the property. I am available for advices, such as restaurants and nice place to visit, so prepare your questions and I will give you all the answers when will meet in Rome! I am always reachable by mail or by phone… so if you need to get in touch with me during your stay, or before the arrival, no worries!

Other things to note

city taxes (3.50 € per day per person - except children under 10 y.o.) are not included in the price, and will have to be paid in cash at the arrival.

Fantastic location while still being quiet and feeling away from the busy streets. We walked everywhere from the apartment. So many good restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed. Great views. Melissa is very helpful and replied quickly to our questions. We loved it there!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Tons of light and an awesome view of Rome from every window. Theres a piazza less than a minute away with a bunch of reataurants. 10 min walk to Trastevere. And 15-20 min walk to the Vatican. Melissa is awesome as well, she helped me with anything I needed. Definitely would recommend anyone to stay here.

Melissa's home is in the perfect location, close to many restaurants and within 30 mins walk of all of the big tourist spots. You can see the Vatican from the window! It was very hot when we stayed, and the AC is not strong enough so we all slept on the first floor near the AC unit, but aside from that everything was great. Melissa was very kind and helpful!

This is a beautiful apartment in an absolutely terrific area. We were two minutes walk from the Campo dei Fiore and ten minutes from Piazza Navona. But it's hard to write a review bacause we were in record high temperatures at or near 100F each day. The five flights walk up was tiring because of the heat - especially with luggage at check in! The AC did not really cool the bedroom enough for us to sleep there so we camped out on the floor in the living/dining room. Any negative experiences were a ddirect result of the extreme weather and not the beautiful apartment.

What an amazing, cute and tidy flat! Location-wise, you are truly in the heart of Rome. The famous squares and fountains are just blocks or minutes away by foot. The little balcony was so nice to relax on for morning coffee or late evening wine. The view across the rooftops was so "Rome"! The flat itself is quirky, but a lot of fun. My kids loved the loft. The kitchen is small but we cooked dinner in there for 5 and it worked out fine. The master bedroom is very comfortable, and the bathroom modern. All the above said...if you are seeking a "normal" experience, you may wish to look elsewhere. It is indeed up 5 steep flights of stairs. We are fit, and the climb didn't bother us, but for some it will be trying. The layout isn't traditional either, but we loved it and it made the stay all the more interesting. It is decorated with such flourish, and loaded with features such as a/c, washing machine, tv, wifi, iron etc. The immediate area is loaded with little restaurants and the nearby square (Campo de Fiore) has a great fun daily market and several taverns to relax in. For sure eat at the little trattoria Osteria da Fortunate on the corner of the square and ask for "Memo"...he's the man! Also wonderful was Melissa's pasta cooking lessons. We started from complete scratch, learned how to work the dough and cut/make various noodles and sauces, then sat down and ate the fruits of our labor; it was excellent!

Last minute host said booked location was unavailable. Suggested we use an entirely different apartment in a different location instead but did not want us to change or cancel the airbnb reservation. Then upon leaving asked us to pay in cash additional "taxes" which is likely against airbnb policy.

Response from Melissa:
Dear Stuart, maybe you forgot to mention that I offered as alterative, a luxury apartment at the spanish Steps, that was costing much more than the apartment you have booked, but I have paid the difference, instead of leaving you with no accommodation. So thanks for being grateful... Oh, I also forgot to say that when I spoke with your girlfriend over the phone, she told me was supriced, of how nice the apartment was... Regarding city taxes, it is mentioned everywhere that have to be paid in cash at the arrival. If you don't agree, you can complain to Rome's city administration. all the best!
