The best location you can get in Rome, one of the best views ever, and a beautiful little terrace. 3 ingredients that will make your stay unique.
Can sleep up to 5 people. Extremely quiet and well decorated. Be prepared to climb up to the 4th floor!

The Space

The apartment is extremely bright and quiet. It has been recently restored, it has beautiful wooden ceilings and stunning views from each window. It is composed of a master bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa bed and a wooden loft with 2 single beds, dining room, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view onto S. Peter's Cupola while having breakfast or dinner or a nice glass of wine, fully equipped bathroom and kitchen, and a nice and pleasant balcony, from where you can enjoy the view on Roman's roofs and the heart of Rome.

The apartment can sleep up to 5 people. It is on a 4th floor with no elevator. Independent heating, A/C, dish washer, washing machine, hair dryer.

The apartment could not be better located. It is only 100 meters from the square of Campo dei Fiori, and only a few steps from Piazza Farnese and Piazza Navona, and also Rome's main attractions are just walking distance.

The area is famous for the large choise of restaurants, cafes and pubs, and to get lost in the small streets around the house still finding small artisans shops and fashion boutiques at the same time is just priceless!

Transportation available for all the other areas of the city. Taxi station just round the corner.

To make your stay unforgettable I can organize for your transfers from and for the airport, breakfast basket, lunch or dinner at the apartment, and if you have a special event to celebrate, just let me know and I will be happy to make arrangements for you.

Guest Access

All my guests have access to the entire apartment and to the pleasant balcony from where you can enjoy one of the best views ever!

Interaction with Guests

I usually await guests at the address of the apartment, so that I can explain everything regarding the property. I am available for advices, such as restaurants and nice place to visit, so prepare your questions and I will give you all the answers when will meet in Rome! I am always reachable by mail or by phone… so if you need to get in touch with me during your stay, or before the arrival, no worries!

The Neighborhood

I guess that this apartment is located in one of the best neighborhoods of Rome. Why? Because even if million of tourists walk on those streets everyday, you can still have an authentic feel. You can still find many small artisans shops, and the market of Campo dei Fiori still gives that authentic vibe.
On the other hand, some of the best stylish restaurants and boutiques, have chosen this area for their new openings, so it is a sort of great union between old and new!
Last but not least, the Big Beauty of some places such as Piazza Navona, the Patheon, Piazza Farnese, Via Giulia… and much more.

Getting around

On the main street Corso Vittorio Emanuele, you can many buses available for all directions.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We liked the location. The apartment was a good size and did look like the photos- however, it has been rented and is a bit worn in places. Bed was comfortable. However, my kids are over 6 foot tall and the couch wasn't big enough. Melissa was great to work with and communicated with me from the time of the reservation all the way up to setting up transportation to the airport at 4:30 am.

  • Melissa was friendly and helpful and the apartment was in an unbeatable location. As other reviewers have mentioned, some of the fittings are tired and worn and are in need of some attention.

  • We stayed here for five nights during our honeymoon in June 2014 and could not have asked (email hidden) to stay in Rome. The host Melissa was very welcoming and extremely helpful with any requests that we had, providing us with loads of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

This is a spacious, panoramic, top-floor apartment situated in a quiet side street a stone’s throw from the Campo dei Fiori. There are views from all sides of the apartment, with the veranda providing the morning sun and the dining room providing a beautiful uninterrupted view of the sun setting over St Peters Copula. The apartment was well kept and clean, with delightful décor and colour.

The apartment is perfect for a tourist in Rome, particularly for first time visitors like us. Its central location is ideal, being pretty much equidistant from the Vatican, the Colosseum (Ancient Rome) and the Spanish Steps (which, apart from the view of the city from the top, were slightly underwhelming). All of these are within a 25-40 min walk, depending on your pace. The Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Trevi fountain are even closer (10-15 min walk).
Indeed, apart from a taxi to and from the train station (€15 each way), we didn’t use public transport or taxis once during our stay.

The Campo dei Fiori area itself (and nearby Trastevere), with its old, intertwining, cobblestone streets is a lovely area with loads of gorgeous restaurants, the best of which are in the side streets away from the main piazza (which is very touristy, although lively and atmospheric). However we found the nicest area to eat out, in terms of quality, atmosphere and selection, was probably nearby Via del Governo Vecchio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days here, feeling like we got a real experience of what it’s like to live in Rome. The only word of warning would be that, due to it being on the top floor with no lift, four or five flights of stairs must be climbed to get up to the apartment. This wasn’t an issue for us by any means but may be so for older or less mobile visitors.

To Melissa; we thank you again for everything and will certainly recommend this place to any of our friends or family who intend to visit Rome.

All dies sind kleine Dinge. Sie sind tolerabel, trüben aber etwas den herrlichen Eindruck nach den 75 Stufen ohne Fahrstuhl. Trotzdem: Wir haben die Unterkunft und natürlich Rom genossen.

  • We had a great stay at this apartment during our recent visit to Rome. Melissa arranged a driver for us from the airport, which was very convenient. We did not meet Melissa, but her friend, Maria, met us at the apartment to let us in. Great apartment, very spacious and with all the furnishings you need. Beautiful view, was just as pictured. Location is great and we were able to walk to all the sights. Great neighborhood with a market right outside! Overall we were very comfortable and really enjoyed the apartment! Would highly recommend.

  • The location and view is great and our host was very kind to meet us early to store our luggage until check in time. The bed was very comfortable and everything was as promised in the rental description. My only cautions would be that the shower might be a bit tight if you are larger than average and we couldn't get the washing machine to work quite right, but we might not have programmed it properly. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

  • We had a super stay in Rome. The apartment was clean and nice. The 8 stairs to the top of the apartment were heavy after a day walking.Melissa was very helpful and arranged a taxi, from and to the airport. This was our first Airbnb stay and we will do it again next city trip with our 2 kids.

  • The apartment was roomy, clean, and as pictured. Beds, sheets, towels spotless white. Melissa was quite helpful in recommending local places and even arranging a taxi to the airport. Overall very positive.
