Try the unique experience of "live inside" the National Park los Haitises onboard a sailboat. You will discover hidden natural harbours in the middle of the park where you can enjoy the connection with wild nature that place offers.

The sailboat 'Ezaro' a Puma 37 feet long fiber glass boat will be our mate in this adventure. We can do some explorations as sailing by mangrove areas, taino caves, fisherman village...

Minimum people for the experience is 4: ask by private msg for options.

The space
You go on board in the public port of Samaná city, and then we sail crossing Samana Bay untill Haitises National Park (the sailing takes 3h30m depends of wind and sea conditions) where the "experience" starts.

The sailbot has 3 independent rooms, complete bathroom and kitchen, and a livingroom. But the best area for me with no doubt is the deck: you can stay there chilling, eat, sleep in our hammocks.

Where you’ll be

Sabana de la Mar, Hato Mayor, Dominican Republic

Los Haitises National Park probably is the most important national park in Dominican Republic. Its area has 3,600km. The biggest area of the park is on Sabana de la Mar region, and it's complete in Samana and Monte Plata provinces.
"Haitises" means high land or mountaisn land, although the hills or mogotes in the park has an average of 40 or 380 metres height.

The park is a unique place where "mogotes" and harbours mixed, creating hidden places you can only access by sea, these secret places we can access with the sailboat anchored.

I'm spanish guy living in Dominican Republic since 2013. I'm a music lover and environmentalist. I'm living on my sailboat which I got from my uncle the same year I came to DR, and I'm so proud to change my "working-office-life" in Barcelona to sailing life in Samaná.
In my free time I'm working with booking artist for tours and festivals, and organizing some events and music festivals, too.
