Guests can live in the most elegant area of Rome, a few steps from the pedestrian area of Via del Corso. Mostly adjacent to the famous Via Condotti where there are shops such as Gucci, Valentino, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Fendi etc.
Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the great park of Villa Borghese. It's really near the apartment, you have a partial view from the windows.
Guests can visit in just a few minutes on walk to the most important monuments of Rome.
Rome's main international airport:
Leonardo da Vinci/Fiumicino International Airport - Rome's main airport is modern, large, rather efficient, and well connected to the center of the city by public transportation. However, late-night arrivals may limit you to an irregular bus into town unless you can afford a taxi.
From Leonardo da Vinci/Fiumicino airport, there are two train lines and bus lines to get you into Rome:
Leonardo Express trains: with trains departing every 30 minutes Leonardo express non-stop train service takes you - every day of the year - from Leonardo da Vinci Airport to the centre of Rome in only half an hour. The train arrives and departs from platforms 23/24 in Termini Station, and is guaranteed year around, even in the event of strikes.
• the cost of one way ticket by train is 14 euro per person
• The ticket will expire 90 minutes after validation.
• the cost of one way ticket by bus Terravision is 6 euro per person.
From Ciampino airport there are bus lines to the Termini Station to coincide with flight arrivals.
If you come by train or bus you will arrive at "Termini" central station. From there take the subway going to "Battistini" and get off at "Spagna". You will step out of the subway into Piazza di Spagna!
Considering the excellent location of the apartment is also within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, the Parliament and the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori with about 10 minutes on. The Saint Peter's Square is a 20-minute walk away, as is the Roman Forum and the Coliseum.
The apt is walking distance to spanish steps and piazza del popolo, there is two subway stations (spagna - flaminio) 5 minutes walking from the apt. There are also tram and bus stop close few blocks away and also the taxi stop is near.
Dario's flat is just great, well decorated and so close to many interesting places, and so quiet!
We felt as being at home, and greatly appreciated the way Dario welcomed us - warm words, big smile, and small attentions !
All perfect :). Thanks Dario !
Nous avons passé un séjour en amoureux dans ce charmant appartement et avons été ravi!
Very clean and peacefull place but specially well located (all the city center of Roma is easily reached by foot);( nice place with a great kitchen to cook in too!)
We very recommend this appartment!
Dario's apartment is perfect! It's very beatiuful, comfortable, clean, perfect decoration... and its location is great, in Via Margutta, calm streat very close to Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo.
Dario is a wonderful host! he left breadkfast and red wine.
And I appreciate his flexibility in departure time.
Grazzie Dario per tutto!
This was our third trip to Italy and by far the best accommodation we've had. I now wonder why anyone would stay in a hotel. Dario's friend Carlos waited patiently for us at the building and mercifully toted my suitcase up to the fourth floor (We would have given a five-star rating if there had been a lift, but that's part of the ambiance of old Europe). He introduced us to the apartment, which was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed right down to the shampoo and lotions. The view from the windows through Dario's cactus garden, the neighbors' balcony gardens, and the treetops of the Borghese gardens was reason enough to stay here. The street was perfectly located for sightseeing and as a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Via Marghutta is lined with galleries and antique shops and is between the Spanish steps and the Piazza de Poppolo. There's plenty to see and do within walking distance, and the metro is close-by. Along with a bottle of wine and a trayful of snacks to help us recover from traveling Carlos gave us a map, restaurant and grocery store advice, and assurance that either Dario or he would be available twenty-fours a day. We truly felt that we had a friend in Rome.
Everything we could possibly need was in the kitchen. We were also invited to help ourselves to the well-stocked pantry. The clothes washer was a blessing, but the lack of a dryer was a bit annoying to us as Americans. Few people have dryers in Europe because of the high energy cost, so like everyone else we used Dario's clothesline and drying rack. No problem.
We can only hope that when we return to Rome that Dario's home is available to us since we cannot think of a finer host or a better place to stay.
Dario's apartment was perfect for our 4 day stay in Rome. Located close to the Spanish Steps it was easy for us to walk to all the major sights and we hardly used the metro. The apartment is spacious for two people, has a comfortable bed, wi-fi, and has a fully equipped kitchen which is handy as the restaurants in the area, while charming, are quite pricey. Dario was really helpful when the airline lost our luggage, and even waited for it while we went exploring. He also left us breakfast and a bottle of wine - all in all a fabulous host and we recommend his apartment.
Amazing location, within walking distance to everything!!!! Very clean, quiet and cozy apartment. Dario and Carlos were readily available with information and advice. Will gladly come back.
Dario's apartment was great! I really recommend this place, it's very clean, comfort and in a great place! Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality.
We had a great visit! Dario's apartment is perfectly located, and it's very clean, bright & comfortable. We had fast & easy communication during the planning stages, and he greeted us with a warm smile and plenty of helpful information. Thank you, Dario!
Dario was an absolutely wonderful host! My husband and I stopped at several different locations on our trip, and his place was the best and most accommodating! It's even better than he described it in the apartment's profile. The place is decorated with love and makes you feel at home. We arrived late (after midnight) and he was patiently waiting for us. He walked us through the apartment, left a bottle of red wine, had plenty of shampoos and other toiletries to use, and basically said "our home is your home during your stay, and if you need anything, you have a friend here". The location was perfect too! I would recommend this place and Dario's hospitality to anyone traveling to Rome!
Dario's place is great, clean and spacious, well decorated, Via Margutta is a beautiful street and is very central. Thank you.
