A small cozy, luminated and pleasant apartment for 3 persones, with all the necessities for a short stay in the city of Paris.
At the heart of Paris, in the 1st arrondissement, very close to the Centre Pompidou, Hôtel de Ville and Châtelet, you can visit Paris by foot. The metro station of Châtelet is just 30 m away. Near the apartment you will find restaurants, bars and bistros that will make you feel a real Parisian!
This central luminated apartment has a comfortable double bed and a single bed in mezzanine, a convertible table and chairs and also a TV. A small kitchen with everything that you need (hob, kettle, fridge ... ) for snacking between visits. And a small shower, toilet and sink to refresh you. Linen and Towels are provided.
Internet and Cable TV has been installed recently (January 2013).
It is an ideal base for your visit of the French capital with everything you need at a good price!
Christina sent us very good , clear directions prior to our arrival . The apartment was as it is looks on the website . We texted her to let her know that we arrived and got an immediate welcoming response . Everything was clean, functional and appropriate.
The apartment was exceptionally well located for our needs . We had to come to look at as much art as we could in 2 days. It is 5 minutes walk to the Centre Georges Pompidou , about 10 to the Louvre and less than 15 to Musée d'Orsay and l'Orangerie . Also it is so easy to get anywhere by Metro as it is so central, for example about 30 mins from the apartment to the amazing Paul Gehry designed Fondation Louis Vuitton art museum. ( Check all these places' opening times to make the most of your day ).
The immediate area around the apartment is great , a range of bars , restaurants, etc, but importantly boulangerie, small supermarkets and delis within a few streets. This coupled with the facilities in the apartment means you are not restricted to just eating out . For those interested in retail shopping (we weren't) Les Halles underground shopping mall is only a few minutes walk away . The apartment is next to a Jazz bar and we wondered if there would be noisy at night , but 4 floors up and with double glazing it is fine . The stairs are steep and no lift so if you have mobility issues its not ideal. Otherwise its great to burn a few calories with all the amazing French food you may be eating.
It was very comfortable location and clean room. And Cjristina was very kind before we stay there. Thanks to her kind answers, we can make a plan about our trip better. But because there wasn't lift and the room was on the 4th floor we was too tired to carry our baggages.
Christina's apartment was very cozy and in a perfect location. The room itself was beautiful with exposed wooden beams and still functional. While small, three male college students had no problem staying there at all. Quite a steep climb to the fourth floor but that kept you away from the busy street below. 5 minute walk to the Louvre and only a few steps away from the Chatelet Metro Station to get anywhere in Paris. Overall, a great place to stay in truly the heart of the city.
Great location with local bar/restaurants around. Real experience of local France. Everything was close!!!!!!!!!
