About this listing

The location is ideal for visiting Rome, and then relax in a charming, historic seaside town with sandy beaches, not far from Rome! Staying in an apartment completely furnished. We offer up to three bikes!

The space

Anzio is blue flag for 4 years!
The apartment on the second floor of a little building, it's about 50 square-meters, has a living room with TV, kitchenette (fridge, microwave, oven, gas stove), one double bedroom, one bathroom (with window and shower and bath), 2 balconies awnings, habitable (on the balcony of the kitchen, in fact you can eat lunch, dinner or breakfast!) and a little hallway where the washing-machine is located;

please notice:

From middle March 2013, there isnew heating system, newly restored with more new radiators, in the bedroom, in the livingroom and in the bathroom, to make the house more comfortable and warm for winter;

However, the house is angular and sunny, facing SOUTH/OVEST: in the morning the sun is on the living room, and in the afternoon, until sunset, is on the bedroom/bathroom.
For that reason all the balcony are awings! and there are also air conditioning for summer time;

WI-FI network is available all year long!

The living room has a sofa bed (a double bed) and in the case of a fifth person, there is a single folding bed;

Will also be available to guests two bikes, with which you can reach Anzio city center (reachable also by foot with a good walk, it's just 2 km, and about 2.7 km to the charatteristic main port)

In the neighborhood there are restaurants, shops and supermarkets;

- The House of Nerone (The remains of the beautiful villa of Nerone)

- Tor Caldara (Nature Reserve)

- Museum and Archaeology (The museum where you can find the history of our town)

- Sanctuary of Saint Maria Goretti in Nettuno, and in Borgo Le Ferriere (Latina) the house where he lived;

- Basilica of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus (in Romanesque-Gothic style)

- Ship to the beautiful island of Ponza

- Golf Courses in locations Padiglione (7 km away)

- Mini moto track in location Campo di Carne (10 km away)

I can offer you the service to carry you to the airport (Ciampino or Fiumicino) if you need;

- 2 km from Anzio city center;

- 300 meters from the equipped beach;

- 300 meters from Anzio Colonia Train Station (where the train goes every hour to / from Roma Termini, which takes about 50 minutes)

- Around the corner there is the bus stop to Rome Eur (precisely to the metro underground station-Eur Fermi)

For those who are equipped car, the area offers plenty of free parking;

For any other need, just ask, I'm always available!

Marco's place was comfortable and conveniently located to nice beach town and train station. He provided us with everything we were looking for. Very quiet location and close to everything. Highly recommend this unique place for easy access to wonderful beaches and lovely town.

Marco was a perfect host. He picked us up in the airport and was always helping us if we have any questions. The apartment itself is lovely, it has all things you ever need. The balcony is nice and we have spend a lot of evenings having dinner on it. Unfortunately the only thing which was quite dissapointing was the area around as it is not very interesting, no bars or nice restaurants. The nearest town is Anzio and for us it took 35-40 min walking to get there. The way to Anzio is also not very nice as you can not see the sea just building and a military zone. Other than that the sea and beach is nice and the water is super clean, much cleaner than in Anzio where you have a harbor strait in the city.

Marco was a great host. He waited until I arrived and was very detailed on how to operate the heater, wifi, and to access all accessories. I was very pleased also with the location and I plan to stay there in the future if available.

Marco and his wife were fantastic! They made us feel very welcome, and at home! They had prepared a big basket with everything for breakfast! Such a sweet gesture! The flat is perfect, everything you think you could need is there, and even more! Great location as it was our base to visit Rome and Amalfi Coast. Train station very close, fast connection to centre of Rome. Highly recommended! 7 Thank you so much!!!!

Great holiday at Marco and Paola's! The flat is better in real life than on photos. Marco and Paola prepared a basket full of food for us. The beach was just 7 min away on foot. The food in the area is delicious and the neighbourhood is nice. Highly recommended.

Marco was very helpful and picked us up from the train station. The appartement is very clean and lovely decorated. There is everything you need! There was nothing we missed. The area is very quiet and if you want you reach everything by foot. We even got a breakfast basket by arriving. We realy recommend it and would come back everytime! Thank you both very much for these relaxing days!

Marco, was waiting for us with his car at the train station of Anzio-Colonia which was very nice of him. Before getting to his place he showed us around the shops, beaches, restaurants and all the places we should go to. The flat was arranged for us and left us some fruits, water, sweeties and some food in the fridge. That was really nice of him. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, making your morning coffee , etc. The house is closed to the beach and surrounded by a quiet neighbourhood with lovely people and the way to the closest beach won't take you more than 5 min. walk.

My name is Marco, I live near Rome, and I love to travel!
To learn about other cultures, meet new people, and new places, makes me very happy, but to help people to travel, to suggest them the best routes, to help them to visit new places, to their visit to Italy, I think, sometimes, is even better!
