It is on foot just 10 minutes from Nagitsuji station (on Kyoto subway Tozai line), giving easy access to different parts of Kyoto.
It is 25 minutes from the share house up to Kyoto station and Sanjo Keihan station(include the time from share house to the nearest subway station on foot and include the time for waiting for the train ).
Especially,it is close to Higashiyama Area in Kyoto.
It is only 20～25minutes.( It is 10 minutes from the share house to the nearest subway station and it is 9 minutes from that station to that area station. It is very easy.)

Our stay at Hidemi's share house was a great experience: we could get a lot of insights thanks to Hidemi's time she spent with us: she cooked us a delicious meal and we had a fun evening together. Furthermore she showed us a nice castle and brought us to a Sake-festival which was a lot of fun.
The room is nice and clean and there is a well-equipped kitchen.
We really recommend Hidemi's great hospitality!
Hidemi is the best host - friendly and welcoming all the way through. She was really concerned about us being well and we really enjoyed our stay! The warmest recommendation! Thank you so much.
Hidemi and Aki are really friendly and helpful hosts. It was such a great and wonderful experience to stay in their share house. They invited my friend & I to have breakfast at their private house. Hidemi cooked something for us. They really made us feel and experience how's the lifestyle as Japanese. And then they brought us to eat sushi in one awesome sushi bar. I don't remember the name of that place. It would be a very long essay if I wanna say all the good things about them! If there's another chance to visit Japan, I'll be definitely going to visit them again. Hidemi even gave my friend and I a ride to go to nearby station with her car. What a great wonderful experience! :) Arigato Hidemi-San and Aki-San!
We had a really great time in Kyoto! Hidemi was so kind and hospitable - it was a pleasure having her as our host. For Setsubun festival she made us some lovely sushi and gave us great tips for where to go in Kyoto. She also gave us a lift to the closest JR station on the day we left with a present of some Kyoto sweets- so generous!
Her flat was a little bit further out than we expected in a residential area but a brief 10min walk to the station and a couple of stops on the station will take you to Higashiyma where the beautiful temple walk is. Thank you Hidemi!
Hidemi's place was very clean, convenient with supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and has easy access to the local subway and JR lines. Transit to local attractions in Kyoto, as well as nearby cities like Osaka and Nara, were easy and convenient. Hidemi and her husband Akihiko were very sweet hosts. They responded to emails promptly and were very helpful whenever I had any questions. All the positive reviews about their place were spot on - A+!
Hidemi was very kind during our stay. She gave us all the instructions needed to have a pleasent stay at the share house. Our room was very clean and tidy when we got there. All appliances work ok and although they are not very easy to use at first, Hidemi leaves instructions for everything. One thing to consider is that the toilet is downstairs, so might be an inconvenience if you have night habits, but apart from that, all else is superb.
Hidemi is definitely kind and helpful. When we leaved her place, she had prepared a special breakfast for us to take away. The share house is well equiped and you feel comfortable. It is about 10 minutes walk from the subway station and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Although really freezing in the bathroom and toilets ( no heating), you feel like home.
Hidemi & her family are fantastic friendly. We had a delicious Okonomiyaki dinner with them. The share house is a good starting point to discover Kyoto. It is good value. Surely recommendable.
Hidemi is a great host. She reply the message quickly. And she provide many useful Kyoto maps and transportation suggestion. The share house is great, too. And it's near the subway station, very convenient to go to central Kyoto. I will recommend this share house.
Hidemi is an absolutely lovely person and host. She responded to messages promptly and provided us with useful maps of the main sightseeing areas in Kyoto. Her share house is in a quiet area of Kyoto with a short walk to the station. The share house is very clean, has a positive feel and is a great experience.
