A mile from downtown Asheville, nestled by the trees, start your days with the sounds of cheerful birds and explore from our bright, airy, solar-powered guest suite. This private, modern suite is snugged on the lower level of our new green-built home. Features 10-ft. ceilings, separate air system, the most comfortable king bed, bonus twin bed sleep nook, beautiful bathroom, outdoor patio, and more. Near UNCA, botanical gardens, farmers market, outstanding food/drink, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The space
** Please note: Strictly no animals of any kind (due to owner allergies), and no smoking, vaping, drugs, or parties on our property. We respect our residential community and live nearby, so appreciate your consideration while enjoying the neighborhood. Guests will need to navigate steep stone steps to access the suite entrance (see photo). Suite can be booked for 1-2 adults (and with up to 1 child). No unregistered guests/visitors on the property please. No storm damage. Responsive local owners. **

Waterfalls, and bears. Tucked in the mountains of Western NC, we invite you to adventure, explore, and relax from our cozy Asheville guest suite. This new, thoughtfully-designed space includes:

Secondary sleep nook with new twin bed (door for privacy but high open wall cutouts to main area; see photos)
New organic cotton linens and towels
Separate, efficient mini-split air system for independent temperature control
Kitchenette with dining table and stools, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig® coffee maker, electric kettle, tea, dishes, glasses, silverware, paring knife, food scissors, cutting board, bottle opener, and wash bin for dishes (bathroom is the only sink as per city rules)
Laptop lifter on dining table for better angles during remote work meetings, and lap desk
Bathroom with organic shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash
Outdoor patio with bistro table and chairs
Guest Wi-Fi, Roku TV, and sound machine
Local art and guidebooks
Iron/mini board, hairdryer, and first-aid kit
One driveway parking space, level 2 EV charger (240 volt exterior outlet; bring your car's adapter and cord)

The guest who books the reservation must be present for the entire rental period and no unregistered guests/visitors may be on the property without prior approval.

Other things to note
While we try our best to be mindful of house noise, the suite is part of our home and you will hear typical household noise sometimes. Overall the suite is very separate, private, and quiet.

Generally safe and quiet, it’s an ideal base to explore and experience the city and surrounding areas while being part of a residential community. Stroll past bungalows and along forest trails to a wonderful Saturday farmers market. Walk to outstanding coffee, meals, breweries, cocktails, yoga classes, shopping, and grocery stores (Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Harris Teeter); and drive (or bike!) up to the Blue Ridge Parkway in about 15 minutes.
