Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less then a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. LGBTQIA+ All are welcome (As a safety precaution, we do not accept requests with less than five stars or zero reviews.)

The space
This spacious 1,000 sqft modern guest suite has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and panoramic windows. Become fully immersed in the Redwood Rainforest under a Delta Rain Shower Head, warm up by the fire with our self feeding fireplace, and sleep comfortably in a California King bed. Hulu, Netflix, and HBOmax included.

Layout - The unit itself is located in the back half of the house, while we live and tend to the property from the front half. All living spaces are private with one shared wall, similar to a duplex. There are no interior shared spaces.

Food - There is a kitchenette with a mini fridge and freezer, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, and an electric kettle. Sea Quake, Kin Khao, and Christina’s are all great take-out options (as well as dine-in), and DoorDash is available for deliveries.

Wildlife
You may see these visitors on the property:
Bears, Elk, Dear, Foxes, Coyotes, Martens, Raccoons, Opossums, and a variety of birds from Herons to Warblers. Frogs can be seen and heard at night from January through summer.

Trip Insurance
We do not make exceptions to our strict cancellation policy. We highly recommend that guests purchase trip insurance to protect themselves in case of an unexpected cancellation.

Booking Requirements
Please do not attempt to book if you have less than five stars, or zero reviews, your inquiry will be declined. Please include a message about yourself and the reason for your visit. We do not accommodate Saturday check-ins/outs unless you are staying four or more nights, please reach out through messages to confirm reservation. No locals allowed. No weddings or events. No extra visitors.

Guest access
Your private entrance will be on the right side of the house next to the koi pond. You have access to your one bedroom unit and to the back half of the property – which includes the patio and nature walk. The yard is not fenced but bordered by vegetation. There is a smart lock with an an automated code for access. Please stay on the property as there are no sidewalks and the roads are private.

Other things to note
Please enjoy viewing our chickens on the property, but DO NOT feed them and DO NOT enter the pasture. We feed our girls a strict diet of organic fermented whole grains without corn or soy. Please do not feed the fish either, as they are on a controlled diet.

The property is located in a rural county. Peak Fire Season occurs around July to November and intermittent power outrages are common. We are prepared with a backup generator if needed and have flashlights and supplies available in the unit if needed as well. While fires are common in the area, we have a low risk of fire at the properties location. Most fires occur east of the Redwood National Park.

The property has features such as elevated decks, a wood stove, and natural outdoor terrain that may present safety risks for young children. The home is not childproof.
If you choose to bring a child, you are fully responsible for their supervision and safety at all times.
