Great location and value for basic accommodation in Copenhagen, with shared bathroom and kitchen. We just stayed one night so we were only there to sleep and shower and were then on our way.
Carsten is so great, helpful, and welcoming; I would strongly recommend his place.
It was a pleasure to stay at Carsten's with his family. They are so friendly and helpful also great to talk to. The penthouse is incredibly spacious and well kept. They will make you feel very much at home and relaxed. Carsten also provided me with lots of information and a transit pass the day I moved in which was very convenient to get to anywhere.
Really nice experience to stay with them would love to come back next time.
Carsten was an excellent host met us at the railway station and took us to his place which being in a different country really help us get us settled. He was very accommodating to our needs which we appreciated
My stay with Carsten was fabulous. He is incredibly helpful and endeavoured to make my stay as easy as possible. As I had a lot of luggage, he picked me up from the Metro nearby.
Buses and/or Metro is a short distance away, to take you where ever you need to go. The public transport in Copenhagen is some of the best anywhere.
He was always at hand to answer any questions and I already have plans to stay at his place again.
We were 10 of us and we had a full apartment.
Very welcoming and the beds were good.
But one bathroom for all of us was not enough.
It was the first time I booked via airbnb and I must say.. I am really happy with how everything went. Carsten is unbelievably helpful and a really nice and interesting person. He picked me up from the metro and even took me back there when I had such bad blisters I couldn't walk properly! I will definitely recommend booking with Carsten. His apartment is very nice with a lot of light and very good public transport connections. Thank you Carsten for a great stay!
We spent an amazing weekend in Copenhagen for a bachelor party (12 guys) and Carsten's apartment was the perfect match. Close to the center, clean and cozy rooms and a big kitchen were all we needed. Free wifi was highly appreciated as were the supermarkets right down the corner. Carsten is an awesome host, very easy to get along and helpful for any advice. And look at the price, a great deal!
We LOVE Carsten's apartment!!
Its location is great:
-bus stop downstairs, you can take 2A to city hall or central train station,10 mins it takes;
Apartment itself is amazing:
- It's grand and classically decorated in Danish way;
- it's on top floor and nice orientated,sunshine comes through the colorful glass window and cast onto dining table in the morning;in the afternoon you can watch sunset from everywhere of the living room;
- even though the rooms are a bit simple,but the whole apartment is well-equipped. In those cold days, you can sit next to the fire place at another living room.
The host Carsten is such a kind and helpful gentlemen with nice curiosity towards cultural difference. He also made good recommendations on how to do sightseeing and where to have nice dinner. Carsten also cooks really well(Danish style)! and he will make sure you are feeling at home.
In general,my friends and i had a wonderful stay there.
We hope to go back there in future!! :)
