There is off-road parking to the rear. The studio has a small grassed area surrounding it.
Interaction with guests
We live in the property next door. We won't disturb you but are available for help & advice should you need it.
Waternish, in the north of the island, is one of the most beautiful parts of the Isle of Skye. It has magnificent views across the Minch to the Outer Hebrides. Blue Moon studio has undoubtedly one of the finest views on Waternish. Sit by the huge window & enjoy the constantly changing light on the water. We're close to Stein with the oldest pub on Skye & Michael Smith's, 'Lochbay Restaurant'. Skye is 'foodie' heaven!
All details are found in the studio.

We retired early and moved to Skye three years ago. We love living on top of a cliff, looking out to sea and watching the changing weather and light on the water. We were both teachers although my wife, Jayne has been involved in textiles for the past twenty years, as visitors to the studio will see for themselves. We enjoy the simple things, getting out & walking, reading, great films & tv, eating out with friends. We are lucky to have great restaurants on Skye.
We are looking forward to travelling more over the coming years. We want to get to know all the other Hebridean islands; and then go off into Europe, Italy being a favourite destination for us. Visiting New York is also high on the agenda as our son has recently moved, there.
