A peek from the spacious living & dining room into the second bedroom/children's room
Bright and spacious two-bed Nørrebro apartment that sleeps 4 people.
The apartment has three rooms that are furnished with a mix of classy modern furniture, some antics and the odd quirky flea market piece.
The living room has a dining area with enough space for 6, and a sitting area with a large comfy sofa and a chair. The room has two large bookshelves with loads of English and Danish books that you are welcome to browse. Our plants and flowers adds to the cosy feeling of the place.
The bedroom is large and quiet with a good quality king size bed and double duvet. There is a mirror, place for toiletries. We'll make space for your clothes in the wardrobes should you need it.
The third room is separated from the living room by double glass doors. It is a children's room/second bedroom with a baby cot, and a nice modern sofa. We've got two mattresses that a third and fourth person can sleep on, as well as an extra double duvet and a single duvet.
In the afternoon the living room and second bedroom are flooded with sunlight (if the danish weather shows it better sides). The apartment has central heating and is generally hot and cosy in the winter.
The apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, cooker etc. and a little breakfast bar. We are sure you'll find something to drink from our large selection of teas, or else we've coffee you might like.
The apartment has a big bathroom with a shower (no toilet here). There is also a washing machine and dryer that you are welcome to use.
AMUSEMENTS: You are welcome to amuse yourself with our many English books and magazines (i.e. Monocle, Living Etc, Lucky Peach, Brownbook). There is also wireless internet. However, we suggest you spend your time exploring the great neighborhood :-)
The place is located on the third floor. Access is through a little backyard so it's nicely secluded from the street. There is space for leaving a pram, stroller or rental bikes in the backyard.
Check in and check out can be flexible. Let us know what your plans are and we'll figure out an arrangement that suits everybody.

Andersen, Søren Kirkegaard and other famous Danes are buried) will take you to the popular Jægersborggade with quirky independent shops and many cafes.

Naja is a very considerate host. She gave very good instructions and was always very prompt with her replies. Special thanks to her friend Christiane who passed us the apartment keys and showed us to the apartment. The apartment is brilliantly located 5 mins walk away from Forum Metro. Also a stone's throw from the lakes and assistens kirkegard. Just about anywhere in Copenhagen is within a 15min ride away. Loved that there were at least 3 large supermarkets nearby so we could get groceries easily. Many eating places around the area as well so food was never an issue. The neighbourhood is safe and we were mostly out and about with no problems. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. We loved that there is a very nicely decorated kids room and cot that our year old toddler could sleep in. Plenty of toys and books to keep her entertained. Lots of DVDs and books too if you decide to stay home. The kitchen is well appointed and served us well the one time we decided to cook for ourselves. We did struggle with our luggage as the apartment is on the 3rd floor, but it's healthy exercise! Naja will check in via email throughout our stay so it made us feel very well taken care of. Overall a very good experience and I would strongly recommend this apartment if you're looking for a place to stay in Copenhagen, especially if you are travelling with kids!
Naja was very nice and helpful on our arrival. She brought two copies of the flat keys and showed us the shops and cafes nearby on a map she gave us.
The apartment was quaint and in a convenient location. It was easy to find and get to other locations in the city. The description of the place was not was communicated correctly via the website ad. It states that the apartment has 1.5 baths which means to us traveling from America that there are two toilets and one bath/shower. I even specifically asked this question and the returned answer stated yes then proceeded to state that it has a shower then a toilet in a separate room which reading now can see how this was misleading. Also, the ad for the space stated it had a washer/dryer. While both were present the dryer was not hooked up and had never been used with all the parts, warranties and plastic still inside. Also space is not really tailored for 4 Adults due to size but better suited for 2 adults and 2 children at the max. The WiFi (internet) was also going in and out the entire time which was an issue as we had many business items to take care of on our travels which could not be done. We had the owner come back which she was very accommodating on that point but due to how the router was plugged in if you touched the switch it would go out and could not be restarted by us. We tried several times even with instructions from the owner. Lastly, the dishes that were available to use were very warn and did not appear to be clean. Overall, we did have a good time in Copenhagen but I would not ever use AirBnB again unless I specifically talked with owner prior to visiting the space to make sure we are all on the same page.
We do everything we can to give our guests a good time. We are very sorry that Kane and her family did not enjoy their Airbnb experience. It is perhaps worth stating that AirBnB is not a hotel, but staying in someone else's home, and it is a matter of taste as to what is best for you. We strive to do all we can for our guests, and have had nothing but positive praise otherwise for our place in the other reviews from guests.
1. After booking our place they asked whether there was 1,5 bathrooms – not whether there was two toilets. We answered yes, as we see a separate toilet and shower room as being more than just 1 bathroom. The bathroom and toilet description was stated clearly in our personal correspondance ('There is a large bathroom with a shower and a separate small toilet') and can be seen in the photographs provided online.
We are sorry about this unfortunate miscommunication as we always try to be precise, so that our apartment lives up to people’s expectations, We have clarified the bathroom situation in the description of our place.
2. The description of our apartment at the time of booking clearly said that we DO NOT have a dryer, but there is a dryer in the laundromat in the building’s ground floor. However, just before they checked in we decided to purchase a dryer, but did not have the possibility of installing it before they came. It was explained to them, that the dryer was newly purchased and the one to use is the one in the laundromat.
For future visitors, you will no longer need to use the dryer on the ground floor as there is one now installed in the apartment!
3. We are very sorry for the problems with the wifi. It worked without problems before we left, but unfortunately a problem with the router occured. We have not have that before, and have since replaced the router to make extra sure there are no future problems. No one else has ever reported problems with the internet.
4. About the dishwasher, we had previously just switched to a more environmentally friendly washing powder. It seems that this was not as effective as the industrial powder, and we have since switched back. And if worn means a few chips, then that is a part of life with a child.
We love hosting people and always enjoy travelling with Airbnb and are looking forward to hosting many more. If you have any questions or concerns before booking, please get in contact with us!
Naja was very helpful and alway reachable throughout our stay. We didn't meet in person, but Naja's friend was very flexible regarding our meeting for handing over the key. The apartment is nicely decorated and clean. Our son was very happy to play with the toys and books of Naja's daughter. We can absolutely recommend a stay at Naja's apartment.
Naja's apartment is beautiful and we had a brilliant time staying there for 5 nights. Its location is fantastic, right next to The Lakes, and it's only a small walk away from Norrebrogade. As a host, Naja was lovely and accommodating, and was very quick to respond with any query. I would highly recommend this apartment.
We felt at home at Naja and Michael's! They were very easy to communicate with and attended to our special requests without a problem. The fact that their apartment was baby-friendly was a huge plus for us as we traveled with our 7-month old. Although the building is in a rather busy street, it's incredibly quiet and in a very nice neighbourhood.

About the Host, Naja
We are a Danish-English couple living in Copenhagen with our little girl Oona. We both work in research (Sociology and Public health). When we're not in the office we spend our time hanging out with our baby, reading and drinking coffee in cafes around town. Or maybe chasing down a good restaurants, getting lost in a modern art museums or taking long walks with the pram.
As guests we are clean, non-smokers, nice and funny people. We'll take good care of your things and make sure everything is as we found it.
As hosts we welcome you to our home and hope you'll find it comfortable, that you look after our stuff and generally just enjoy yourself in this great city.
We're keen to both give and receive recommendation on that great local 'secret place' with great coffee, nice food and a (child-friendly) good vibe!
