Lawrenceville is a hip, lively neighborhood with great creative energy. It is located 10 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from CMU, Pitt and the Oakland Medical Center. Built at the turn of the century for new immigrants working in the mills,"Larryville," as it is affectionately called, is a showplace for vital, progressive Pittsburgh. New residents are drawn to the character and charm of its affordable housing, its unusual mix of one-of-a-kind shops and clothing boutiques (from vintage to high-end designer); its eclectic cafes and restaurants ranging from adventuresome and elegant farm-to-table standouts to old-time watering holes serving "famous fish sandwiches since 1944." What folks love about Lawrenceville is it's down home character mixed with an exciting and fresh new vibe. You can feel the strength of its industrial heritage still alive in the vibrant creative energy of Lawrenceville today.
You are two blocks from very convenient bus transportation to all parts of the city. You'll fine bus schedules and TONS of brochures and magazines in a basket on the living room table. Uber, Lyft and Yellow Cab provide car services. Two BIKES are provided for your use with helmets and lock.

This is an excellent property. It is photographed and described accurately. We felt so comfortable for our entire 2 week stay. Connie couldn't be a better host. She welcomed us upon arrival and makes you feel right at home with special touches -- welcome basket, local brochures and magazines, and a binder full of restaurant options, local grocery stores and shops, as well as all the information you need to know about staying in this property. We didn't have any problems during our stay and enjoyed ourselves very much. We'd love to stay here again during our next trip to Pittsburgh!
It is always a pleasure to be able to report that the pictures on the internet are accurate. The apartment was beautiful, bright, clean, and comfortable- just as the pictures depict. Connie offered interesting history of Pittsburgh as well as a plethora of local resources and apartment specific information. I felt at home immediately. Thanks Connie!
I had a really great stay in Connie's place for 4 weeks. She was there to welcome me, with a smile and laughter, as well as a fridge that had various necessities---my flight into Pittsbiugh was delayed by a couple of hours, but she adjusted her schedule to make sure she met me.
The space was lovely, exactly as in the pictures, with a well stocked kitchen , comfortable lounge area , office space and a good size tempur bed.
At the end of a busy day it was a tranquil haven to come back to.
Up the road in Lawrenceville are numerous bars and restaurants all well worth exploring.
The garage was large enough for an average saloon, and the 2 bicycles encouraged me to cycle to work.
All in all a really excellent stay, and `i hope to return at some poin in the future.
Staying in Connie's apartment is a delightful experience. From the moment she personally welcomes you to the moment you sadly have to leave, it feels like home! The furniture, the bedding, the decor all beautifully chosen to help you feel relaxed.
The area, Lawrenceville, is packed with character. It's a short walk to a bus that can take you into Pittsburgh or to one of the many other wonderful areas of this fascinating city.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recommend this gem of an apartment to other people. Loved Pittsburgh, loved Lawrenceville and loved this home from home.
Connie was a friendly, responsive and very kind host. She met us as planned, help orient us to the apartment and neighborhood, and was available for any questions we had. The apartment is as nice as depicted on the website, and very well situated. Thanks for a great stay.
Kelly and Jack
The host made us feel very welcome. She greeted us with enthusiasm, and informed us of the apartment and the surrounding area. The area was better than expected. We took the local bus transportation into downtown, and found the local people very friendly. There was plenty of extra parking across the street for our visitors.
We had a great visit in Pittsburgh, and we enjoyed Connie's apartment in Larenceville. The apartment was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. However, the best thing about the apartment is the location. It's close to everything and there are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Connie was a great host. She was prompt with communication, and provided a binder with all the neighborhood must-sees. Lastly, Connie was very accommodating when we needed a later check-in time. Great experience!

About the Host, Connie
I love welcoming visitors to Pittsburgh––I know the city well and want to help you get the best from the 'Burgh! My roots in Pittsburgh go back 4 generations. I am old enough to remember the smokey mills of Pittsburgh past; its transformation has been nothing short of miraculous. We're clean, we're green, our downtown is thriving, our restaurants world class, our neighborhoods invigorated by young creatives in technology, business and the arts. I also use AirBnB when I travel so I know the kinds of things you're looking for---a spotless, private and tastefully furnished place in a great walkable neighborhood. This stunning Lawrenceville apartment has it all! I look forward to hearing from you---I am always happy to answer any questions you might have!
