From the moment we drove up we were invited in with a wonderful smile and a personal tour. Although we had interrupted her lunch hour an she had been running around all day she took the time and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom set up was very quaint and homey, with plenty of closet space and fresh water with glasses in the room. The wifi was another spectacular thing, I could walk around the yard out back and admire the horses and watch football on my iPad with a VERY strong connection. We were primarily here just for a football game and apparently wearing the wrong colors, she mentioned that to us in a very funny way and that it would be chaos when we drove in to town. When we woke up the next morning refreshed and a light cinnamon scent in the air we were greeted with a hello and are you hungry. Me, always hungry jumped on breakfast starting with tea and honey. But also included: sliced fruits, natural yogurt, killer bread, cream cheese, coffee, eggs and the list goes on....we were not in a rush so we watched the first half on the Seahawks game and were walked out and she closed the gate behind us. Our only regret being that we did not take the time to truly enjoy what Mary had to offer with the main focus being the football game. We will for sure be back and look forward to the hospitality.

Mary made our first airbnb experience easy and delightful. Fast confirmation, very thorough in her description of property, directions, neighboring/local connections. She has a wealthy bank of knowledge and like that long lost friend, she is enthusiastic and willing to share it, and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Mary was very attentive and flexible to accommodate our needs. Very clean, excellent mattress, barn tour was much appreciated as I considered traveling with horses to the area next time! If you are looking to be social, want to be treated like a family friend, and willing to share a love of animals (from near and afar), this could be that peaceful retreat. Mary shows a true love of people, and has found a niche for sharing her passion with others, and a way to branch out to offer travelers from all over a little peek at the farm life.
Staying at Mary's airbnb in Junction City was like meeting a new friend. Mary confirmed our reservation quickly, provided clear directions, and graciously welcomed us when we arrived close to 10 pm due to travel delays. Mary is a delight. We had a chance to tour the barn, see her lovely horses, and play with Lucy the dog. Her home is spotless, the bed is so comfortable; there is a den with wifi, a back porch for sitting and sipping coffee or wine and watching the animals. Breakfast was very filling - good coffee, yogurt, eggs, toast, fresh fruit, fresh juices. We stayed for 3 nights for a nephew's wedding in Junction City. We would love to come back again to spend some time visiting local wineries.
Cozy room in the country. Mary was very accommodating and friendly. Bed was comfortable, room was small with nice personal touches such as fresh flowers in the room. Breakfast served on our schedule each day. Breakfast consisted of a variety of fruit, yogurt, juice, bread and hard boiled eggs. Large property, with horses and goats.
What a wonderful host and COZY, intimate setting. Had a great time hanging out and caring for the horses.
