The room was amazing. Clean, tidy and have everything we need. Definitely a good experience.
It was great! A nice room, with cable tv and easy access to the city. The only criticism I have has nothing to do with the host or room. It's more of the neighbourhood, I got refered to as 'snowflake' by a group of local people who hung out on the corner...
However, other than that one little instance, my stay was very enjoyable and Marvet is a great host!
Thank you so much for a great stay!
Marvet was a friendly, helpful hostess. Directions were excellent and she provided public transit information to help us get around the area. We felt reasonably safe walking the streets late at night when we returned from the subway stop. Access to subway lines 2, 5 was a very short walk and Q was an acceptable distance to walk. We walked to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens easily. Wholesome Gourmet Market was a 15 minute walk and offered groceries and very reasonably priced prepared food.
The only problem we had was our bed size. We selected a double bed and should not have. My husband is 6'3". Marvet does have a room with a queen size bed which we will book on our next visit. Our son now lives in Brooklyn so we anticipate periodic visits and will stay here again.
Marvet is a really nice host. The room has enough space for your personal belongings. Internet is fast and you have your own TV. The house and the furniture are a little bit old, but everything is clean and works fine!
We had a great stay at this location, and even though it was very cold in NY, the room was always warm and cozy.
It was so pretty! The houses and leaves falling on the street- safe and convenient neighborhood, everyone was so nice and the subway/ busses were very fast too. There was also an amazing farmers (email hidden) plaza I discovered on Saturdays - became my little vacation :) enjoy!
Marvet was extremely nice and accomodating. Got to meet some other really nice people that were staying there as well!
Room was perfect - exactly what I needed.
