Get away from it all and come stay in the countryside.
If it's fresh air, open spaces lush green fields, fresh atlantic breeze, and monumental mountains your looking for, then Cahersiveen is the place to visit. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside your window, take a walk in the wilderness, soak it all up and reconnect with nature. We have 3 bedrooms available, one is a twin room overlooking the front garden, mint walls, simple but comfy. The other room is a double which is larger, also overlooking the garden and the final room is the same size as the other double with window to the back of the house. All rooms are ensuite with mirrors and wardrobes. We also have a nice main bathroom if you fancy a bath.
The smell of freshly baked soda bread will often fill the house as we are a dab hand at making bread in this home. It's always grand! Your welcome to have tea/coffee whenever you fancy in the kitchen. We also provide breakfast of cereal: porridge/cornflakes or toast and fruit if you like. In the evenings you can relax by the fire in our cosy living room with a cup of tea or a glass of wine and chat about everything and nothing Irish style. We are sure you will have an enjoyable and relaxing stay with us.
We are an hours drive from Kerry airport, 3km from Cahersiveen town, which you can get a taxi to but renting a car is recommended for your stay here. We have a car so if required we can drop you into town also. In the town you will find grocery stores, restaurants and pubs galore, oh and a very breathtaking church. We are 6 miles from the glorious Skellig Rock, a short drive from many sandy beaches, quaint villages.
You can expect a warm Irish welcome or as we say here "cead mile failte" and any information you might need on the area including historical facts you can expect to be well informed.
Short or long stays welcome.
Plenty of beaches, natural stunning landscapes.
Best way to get around is to rent a car
This place is in a nice quiet area near Cahersiveen. If you are looking for a peaceful experience away from the hum drum, then this will work. For us, we used the accommodation as centralized location to explore Skellig Michael, Ring of Kerry and more.
Breakfast was awesome, and hosts was very chatty and great company.
The reservation was canceled 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Our hosts were the sweetest couple! Very hospitable. The place was a little hard to find (especially in the dark!), but hey..that's Ireland! The house was very clean and breakfast in the morning was awesome!
