About this listing
Experience the charm of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn! A traditionally Italian-American neighborhood, it is now dotted with lovely boutiques, shops and cafes, and yet has retained many of its long-standing family run businesses.
Try the lard bread at Caputo's Bakery on the next block, or experience the best classic Italian sandwich at Esposito & Sons meat shop just two blocks over. Then stop in for an afternoon beer at the Alpine restaurant, Brooklyn Buschenshank, conveniently located on the ground floor. Please check my guidebook for more suggestions on other great neighborhood places!
The apartment is located in a building on a prime corner in quaint Carroll Gardens only two short blocks from the (F) subway. What was once a brothel in the '50s and '60s is now a very spacious but cozy 3 bedroom/1 bathroom flat on the 3rd floor.
Upon entering the apartment you will walk into a beautiful, tranquil, and spacious living room with an open kitchen layout. There are three bedrooms. Two of them have two windows each overlooking Court Street, and the third bedroom has one window overlooking Sackett Street. Original wood ceiling beams give charm to the space.
The apartment also features:
Three queen beds with white bedding
Bathroom with tub & shower
Fresh towels and linens
Utensils/pots for cooking
4-burner stove and oven
Iron & Board
It is a 3 floor walk-up.
Please, no smoking and no pets.
The F/G train at Carroll Street is a 5 minute walk.

The location of the apartment is fantastic. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants and it's very close to the F and G subway lines, so access to Manhattan is easy. I stayed there with four other people for a month from mid June to July and it was the perfect size for us. Also Amy was great about responding quickly to emails and was very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
The host made us feel very welcome and had flowers on the table to greet us. The place is in a great location - close to shops, restaurants and the Subway - F train - to Manhatten. The only issue we had was the squeaky floor.
This apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood. It had very easy access. We never met Amy but everything was very clean when we arrived. The floor plan was great for visiting.
Amazing location, perfect stay! Cute street, with great bars, markets, pharmacies, shops... We were received with flowers! The apartment is also amazing, clean, cute and packed with all the essentials.
We were welcomed with sunshine and flowers. The apartment was spotless and well prepared with linen and towels. We enjoyed having a well equipped kitchen for self catering - a must for a family of six.
Great situation with food markets etc nearby and the subway just 5 minutes away. Loved it!
The apartment was great for four of us - two adults and two teenage children. It is roomy and stylishly decorated. The location is excellent - in a relaxed, trendy and safe neighbourhood, 5 minutes to the Subway and surrounded by great restaurants, on Court Street, Smith Street, Henry Street etc. Caputo's Bake Shop over the road is a bargain and highly recommended!
