Silvia showed an interest in ensuring we had a good visit to Firenze. All went well with check in and the stay.
We loved staying in Silivia's home in Florence. She was very welcoming and full of information, providing us with maps, a full list of current events in Florence and useful tips. It was very well located only being a 10 minute walk into Florence, close to the river and piazzale Michelangelo. It was also close to the bus stop to take you to the main train station which many tours leave from. There was a lovely guest in the other room which we befriended and ended up becoming very close with which was great. Florence is a great city and this accommodation was perfect for our stay.
Silvia is a very kind and extremely well-prepared and organized host! Her apartment is meticulously clean as well as beautiful. It's an amazing price for an apartment that is within walking distance to the major sites. The only potential problem is that the apartment is across the street from a tavern. My husband, who is a very light sleeper, was woken up by people laughing and talking into the night. However, I'm a moderate sleeper and I did not notice this problem at all. Besides, Florence has a lively night life so I'd imagine it'd be the same situation most places if you want to stay in the city. I just want to emphasize that it is a great deal considering its proximity to everything. I highly recommend Silvia's apartment.
The house the lovely and clean. The location is perfect. Easy to walk to city centre. Silvia is helpful and nice.
Silvia's place was great and close to the main center!!
Everything was provided to us, comfortable room, wifi etc. 10 Minute walk into town, bus station and food all around.
Thanks for everything Silvia!
Silvia was a great host! Her directions were clear and we managed to get to her house quickly and without any trouble. The room she provided for us was comfortable and the bathroom was always clean. She gave us valuable information about Florence and the maps she provided were of great help. It was our first Airbnb experience and it was a pleasant one.
I had a wonderful & very comfortable stay in Florence at Silvia's house. The check-in was smooth & very flexible as I arrived 2hours before I was expected. Silvia gave me a great & detailed introduction to my stay in her apartment & to my visit to Florence. I was able to enjoy the city & really relax in Silvia's house. This is not a busy city area, but with Italian late dining hours & the apartment being on the ground floor, some guests may find the noise of the cars/people disturbing. I enjoyed the very comfy bed & the convenience of the neighbourhood (2min walk to supermarket; 10min walk along the river to Ponte Vecchio). Please try the best gelato at the shop across the river at the S.Trinita bridge, and just down the road, the best pizza at Gusta Pizza on the corner of Via Maggio at Piazza S.Spirito.
