Tranquil room in renovated home with new Queen sized bed in Room 1 and Twin Beds in room two.
Price is for 1-2 people. Additional people (up to 4 total) are an additional $38 each. Situated in beautiful Russell County in the scenic Saline River Valley. We have 2 house cats and 3 dogs, chickens, dairy goats, Jersey cows, and horses. Plenty of wildlife.

The space
Secluded private room and bath in the country near the Saline River. Large elevated deck for bird watching, wildlife spotting and evening star gazing. You can see the Milky Way! Relax in tranquil farm setting. Approx 1/2 way between Kansas City and Denver. Only 9 miles off I70. High speed WiFi.

Bedrooms share a private bathroom with rain shower. Essential oil diffuser, ceiling fan, air conditioning, heat, extra blankets, water and snacks.

Guest access
Guests have use of entire house including kitchen, deck & farm (180 acres). Miles of hiking, fossil hunting & off road cycling to explore. Quiet, relaxed environment. Close to 9 thousand acre Lake Wilson with boating, kayaking, hiking and epic mountain biking! Downtown Russell (10 min drive) boasts 4 Antique Shops, Coffee Shop and Art Gallery. Summer Fairs, Music Festivals, Concerts nearby. Overnight horse boarding is available upon request for additional fee. Guests' dogs/cats welcome (free).

Note**No cigarette smoking anywhere on the 180 acre farm**

Bathroom has a large rain shower with towels and essentials provided. High-end washer/dryer available in your private bathroom.
We are in the country, that means possible insects buzzing, coyotes howling, roosters crowing, cows mooing and goats bleating! Despite all our animals, it is extremely quiet at night.
We do not use chemicals in or near the home.
We have homemade food (jams, pickles, salsa), farm fresh eggs, butter, cheese and raw goat & cow milk for sale on the farm.
