  • location location location. This is all I can sat for Tanga's apt in latin quarter.
Its right in the happening part of St Denis. Walk out and all the patio dining and bars are there for you to enjoy. Subway too is just 3 min walk away. Very convenient location. Communication was very clear and check-in/out super smooth without need for further clarifications. With the world cup going on it was have been good to have a TV.

  • This is a nice, clean, simple place in a great location. But 'in the heart of the Latin Quarter' means that the vibrant street life carries on until well into the wee hours, so if that's an issue for you be advised. I loved it, and had a great stay. The TV in the photo was not in the apartment, but I didn't come to Montreal to watch TV.

  • Tanga's place was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials for a stay in Montreal. The apartment is in a fun location with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and many places have outdoor seating for nice weather (n.b. for some, this location may be too loud in the evenings). It's well situated to get to other parts of the city and the airport via public transportation. Overall, we had a great stay!

  • The apartment is very close to the greyhound bus station, metro stations, fun bars and restaurants. If you're a night owl, you'll love your stay. Some of our group really enjoyed it, and some of us didn't. For the nights that we were there, it was noisy until 3 in the morning.

  • I was disappointed ..
Kitchen- no bread, milk or cream as promised. There was a lb butter (opened) , salad dressings (opened) and half drank bottle water & baileys (opened) in the fridge instead. ..
So to say bkfst included was a 100 % lie.

Beds..2 beds - ok comfort level - ac good. The floor tiles lifted up in the bedroom.
Bathroom- yeah....the shampoo/conditioner was the tenants 1L bottles...the 'body wash' was a sample/hotel size but was only half full...thanks....u need to bring ur own.

Tanga responded to emails quick. Area was central. Room suggested bread milk and cream but there was none. I felt for the price I spent way too much. Who offers breakfast and doesnt follow thru????

    Response from Tanga:

Thank you for your comments. As my mistake, I sent out the old instruction. I used to provide bread, cream and milk, yet most of people did not touch them, so it turned out to be a huge waste of food. Therefore, I decided to keep it simple, and provide only butter, peanut butter and jam, and give the freedom of choice for bread type (fresher too) to the guests.

  • Tangas place is in the best area - vibrant fun area lots of bars, pubs and restaurants. it's close to the metro and to st.cstherines street! If your young you will love it here. probably not the place to stay if your older. The stairs to get up to the suite is hard with large and heavy luggage. The first night we were there it was so hot we couldn't sleep but we contacted tanga and she put in the air conditioner the next day! she was great at communicating. Be careful when you leave the suite - the door locks right away and we left our key inside accidentally so she had to come and let us back in. I would suggest bringing your own pillow as the ones provided are flat. Great place , lots of space... 3 of us girls stayed there and really enjoyed the space. We felt safe in the area and loved our stay in Montreal.

  • Great neighborhood to be in, lovely place. Tanga was really flexible about our stay too. Would definitely go back!!

  • We were quite disappointed. Indeed, the apartment is very close to bars and pubs, but that also means it is very loud. There were parties on the street so we did not sleep very well.
E-Mail-Contact with Tanga and Check-In have been uncomplicated.

  • Very comfortable place to stay. It's extremely close to the metro and very lively at night. Everything was clean and organized. Really enjoyed our stay there and Tanga responds to our questions quickly.

  • Tanga's place was clean, easy to find, and close to lots of great Montreal spots. Tanga made it easy to access her space. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, and the apartment was great, and comfortably accommodated 4 people.

I have been in Montreal for more than 10 years, and feel myself engaged in this multicultural dynamic city as a second home. I have always been in love with traveling, and myself an airbnb traveler. After the trip to Europe in 2012 and being satisfied with everywhere I stayed being referred by airbnb, I decide to share my own places to other travelers, in hope of giving them what I have received and expected during my trip, which is a home away from home. Your trip to Montreal should be stress-free and relax so you can enjoy more in exploring this lovely city. And I am more than welcome to give you tips on where to go eat, shop and enjoy the night-life in Montreal. With love!
