It is a home..treat it like it were your own.
Rita was very warm when we met her in passing. She called to see if we had everything we needed. The location is in a good neighborhood. Parking was a bit difficult. But, it was off street and safe. The apartment is adjacent to the garage and a gaseous/ paint remover type odor was evident and permeated into the apartment somewhat. For someone super sensitive to things like this, it could be a problem. Otherwise it was roomy and comfortable.
We stayed in Rita's space for a week during our university's spring break and we greatly enjoyed our stay! The studio was clean and everything was provided, even some toiletries and snacks! Rita was very accommodating for us and responded promptly to any questions that we had. The space was also very nicely located - it was in Lenox, just a few minutes drive on the highway from downtown and Georgia Tech and not far from the mall! Overall, she helped make our stay in Atlanta very low-stress and easy to plan. Would recommend to anyone!
Rita was an excellent host. I thoroughly enjoyed the apartment.
Nice quite neighborhood, 5 min walk to Starbucks, a few restaurants and a large supermarket; 10 min walk to the train station. Large shopping malls only 10-15 min drive. Comfortable, private home for 2-3 people. Everything in good order and clean. Thanks for the nice stay Rita..
Excellent. Clean, spacious and well appointed. Rita is super nice. Highly recommended.
Pros: home is in a nice neighborhood; the price is great.
Cons: had to supply our own toilet paper on Saturday and Monday, even after we told the host we ran out and she said she'd pick some up for us the next day; parking is tight.
Rita's studio apartment was just as spacious as described and depicted in the pictures. It was a good location for us as it was only a few miles from Buckhead and a couple of miles the other direction to Olgethorpe University. Rita was nice and accommodated our late arrival. However, the studio wasn't the cleanest space I've ever stayed. The bathroom especially could have been much cleaner. There was a dead spider hanging in the shower corner & a dead mosquito above the vanity lights. We also found a live spider in the bathtub & a live, very large cockroach in the bathroom. The temperature wasn't as cool as we would have liked. We asked Rita to turn the temperature down each morning. However, she wasn't quick to respond. And when she did, she suggested opening the windows which we had already tried, but found there were no window screens so we closed them not wanting to allow more bugs in. Despite the cooler temperatures outside, there is no natural air flow in the space so it gets quite stuffy in the basement. We also had to request a second roll of toilet paper which took 24 hrs. to receive. Lastly, we were disappointed by the limited available channels (about 10) on the 65" TV (no ESPN, ESPN2, HGTV, TBS, TNT, HLN) so if you want to watch sports, you're out of luck. It was nice having a space in the garage to park our car, however it's a very tight space to maneuver into and out of. Needless to say, we won't likely stay here again.
