This is for a private bedroom and bathroom in a 1,600 sq.ft. house. Bedroom is about 12' x 12', and is nicely designed with a full-size bedroom, two large nightstands, desk & chair, armchair, ample closet space. You will have your own private bathroom.
You and I will share the use of the living area with 55" high-def TV, dining area with 6-person table, kitchen with eat-in area. There is free Wifi.
House is located in the Portola/Visitacion Valley district in San Francisco, which is about 5 miles from downtown SF, and about 10 miles from SFO airport. The house is located on a hill, so it has spectacular southern view of hills and water.
Easy freeway access and public transportation:
The 101-freeway is less than 5 min away, which brings you downtown in 15 min, or SFO airport in 15 min. Or you can take the Muni light rail (T-line) to downtown, AT&T Park, Embarcadero. The ride is about 30 min and costs $2. Or you can take various bus lines to downtown and other areas in SF. If you need to go south (e.g. SFO airport, Stanford, San Jose), the Caltrain Station is less than 5 min away.
I prefer a single person to occupy, but a couple is ok too. Minimum stay is 2 nights. Cleaning fee is $10.
House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but less than 5 min walk to the Muni light rail station, Caltrain Station, and bus lines stop. It's located on a hill, so if you don't have a car, prepare to walk a short hilly block. There is free parking around. I have a 10-lb mini schnauzer with me. He's 8 years old and quiet.
Henry is a great communicator and very understanding. I would stay there again.
Henry was extremely nice and very helpful during our stay. He gave us access to the kitchen and living room, and also provided helpful printouts for our travels. The room and bathroom were very clean and the house was quiet.
The room is very comfortable and spacious, the apartment has a wonderful view on the city and Henry and Allan were both great hosts, really helpful. My boyfriend and I had a very nice couple of days at their place.
I stayed with Henry for 1 month while I rotated through a hospital nearby. Henry was very prompt in his response to my message and he made sure to answer any questions I had prior to my arrival. When I arrived, Henry greeted me at the door with his cute Schnauzer and made me feel very comfortable and at home. His place is beautiful. Not only is it clean and beautifully decorated, he has a stunning view of the surrounding area. My room was exactly as it looked on airbnb – again, clean and lovely. Upon arrival Henry showed me to my room and gave me a tour of his place. He said that we would share the living room space and kitchen. He even gave me one level in the fridge to store my food. He showed me the thermostat and told me to always feel free to adjust it to whatever temperature that would be most comfortable for me, which was great because San Francisco can be quite cold. I had brought a car to the city so that I could drive to work. And to my surprise, Henry gave up the parking space in front of his house so that I could park there, and he instead parked on the street just to make things more convenient for me. He made sure to give me directions to my work place along with direction toward the nearest freeways and grocery stores, and gave me recommendations on good eateries in the area. When I came home from work, I always had a lot of privacy and really felt comfortable and relaxed at Henry’s place. We also had great conversations and would catch up with one another throughout the week. Needless to say, Henry’s place was really the perfect find for me. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay there again when I head to the city.
The place and facilities were good and the view from up the hill was beautiful. Henry was very friendly and helpful. When we asked for a toaster, he immediately went to buy one for us. He asked us for our needs because he wants to meet the requirements of his guests.
Henry Lee was very prompt in replying to my inquiries from the time I first emailed until I left on the last day. It was very helpful to be in good communication at all times.
The room was very comfortable, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I felt like the events of the day could be left behind and I had my own private world to renew and rest in. I loved having my own bathroom and hot water.
Henry's home is also aesthetically pleasing and lovely. The views are beautiful, the kitchen is wonderful, and the trip to the t line, light rail, was very convenient.
Henry was a great host and was there when I arrived. He was ready to answer questions and had the t line schedule printed out for me. Henry was generous in sharing the kitchen and any information I needed about San Francisco.
I feel like I would not have been able to do the tremendous amount of stuff I wanted to do with my daughter if I had not had adequate rest and quiet. Henry Lee was able to provide that for me in a most unobtrusive way.
